⁷ And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it; for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

² and walk in charity even as the Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.

¹ ¶ I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men, ² for kings, and for all that are in authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and integrity.
