⁹ You reign over the rising of the sea; the waves rise, you laud them:

⁸ Who hedged in the sea with doors when it gushed? When it issued from the womb? ⁹ When I set the cloud for a robe and dripping darkness for a swathe; ¹⁰ and broke it up for my statute and set bars and doors; ¹¹ and said, Come to here, but add not: And set there the pomp of your waves?

¹⁰ Yah Veh settles on the flood; yes, Yah Veh settles, Sovereign eternal!

⁷ who lauds the roaring of the seas the roaring of their waves and the roar of the nations.

⁵ Come and see the deeds of Elohim; his awesome exploits toward the sons of humanity. ⁶ He turned the sea into dry; they passed through the river on foot: there we cheered in him.

³ The rivers lift, O Yah Veh; the rivers lift their voice; the rivers lift their waves: ⁴ Yah Veh in the heights is mightier than the voice of many waters - than the mighty waves of the sea.

²⁵ He says, and the stormy wind which lifts the waves stay: ²⁶ they ascend to the heavens; they descend to the abysses; their soul melts because of evil. ²⁷ They celebrate and stagger as intoxicated - swallow all their wisdom: ²⁸ and they cry to Yah Veh in their tribulation and he brings them from their distresses: ²⁹ he raises the storm to hush and the waves hush:

⁴ he rebukes the sea and withers and dries all the rivers: Bashan and Karmel/orchard languish; and the blossom of Lebanon languishes:

²⁴ and behold, a mega quake becomes in the sea, so that the sailer is veiled by the waves: but he sleeps. ²⁵ And his disciples come to him and rouse him, wording, Adonay, save us! We destruct! ²⁶ And he words to them, Why are you cowardly, O you of little trust? - then he rises, and rebukes the winds and the sea and there becomes a mega calm. ²⁷ And the humans marvel, wording, What manner is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?

³² And they embark into the sailer and the wind relaxes:

³⁹ And he rises, and rebukes the wind, and says to the sea, Hush! Muzzle! - and the wind relaxes and there is a mega calm.

⁴¹ And they awe a mega awe, and word to one another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
