¹⁸ he spares his soul from the pit of ruin and his life from the passing of the spear;

²² Yes, his soul draws near to the pit of ruin and his life to the deathifiers.

²⁴ then he grants him charism and says, Rescue him from descending to the pit of ruin; I have found a koper/an atonement.

²⁸ he redeems my soul from passing into the pit of ruin and my life sees the light.

¹⁰ For you neither forsake my soul in sheol; nor give your Mercied One to see the pit of ruin:

³ O Yah Veh, you ascend my soul from sheol; you enliven me that I not descend to the well.

¹³ for you rescue my soul from death. Do you not also my feet from falling - so that I walk at the face of Elohim in the light of the living?

¹⁰ For your mercy is great to the heavens and your truth to the vapours.

⁶ You place me in the nethermost well - in darkness - in the deeps:

⁸ Yah Veh is merciful and charismatic; slow to wrath and abundant in mercy. ⁹ He neither contends in perpetuity nor guards eternally: ¹⁰ he neither works with us after our sins nor deals with us according to our perversities. ¹¹ For as the heavens loft above the earth, thus his mercy prevails mightily toward them who awe him: ¹² as far as the rising from the dusk, thus far he removes our rebellions from us:

⁴ for your mercy - great above the heavens; and your truth to the vapours.

⁸ For you rescued my soul from death; my eyes from tears; my feet from falling:

¹⁷ Behold, for shalom I was bitterly embittered: and you attached to my soul from the pit of ruin: for you cast all my sins behind your back.

³ for you cast me into the deep, midst the seas; and the rivers surround me: all your breakers and your waves pass over me. ⁴ Then I - I say, I am expelled from your eyes; yet I look again toward your holy manse: ⁵ the waters surround me to the soul; the abyss surrounds me; the reeds bind around my head: ⁶ I descend to the bases of the mountains; the earth with her bars around me eternally: yet you ascend my life from the pit of ruin, O Yah Veh my Elohim.

⁵⁸ and her fellow settlers and her kindred hear how Yah Veh magnifies her; and they rejoice with her.

¹⁰ and to await his Son from the heavens - Yah Shua - whom he raised from the dead who rescued us from the wrath to come.
