¹⁸ Surely you set them in smooth places; you cast them down into ruins:

³⁵ Mine is the avenging and retribution; their foot slips in time: for the day of their calamity is near and that impending on them, hastens.

²⁰ But the wicked destruct and the enemies of Yah Veh, as the esteem of rams, are finished off - into smoke are finished off.

³⁵ I saw the wicked tyrant stripped naked as a green native; ³⁶ yet he passes away; and behold, he is not; yes, I seek him, but find him not. ³⁷ Regard the integrious and see the straight; for the finality of that man is shalom. ³⁸ The rebels desolate together - the finality of the wicked is cut off;

²³ And you, O Elohim, descend them into the well of the pit of ruin; men of bloods and deceit halve their days; but I confide in you.

⁷ when the wicked blossom as the herbage and when all the doers of mischief flourish to be desolated eternally.

²³ and he returns their own mischief on them and exterminates them in their own evil: Yah Veh our Elohim exterminates them.

¹² So their way is to them as slippery in the darkness: they are overthrown and fall therein: for I bring evil on them - the year of their visitation - an oracle of Yah Veh.
