³ Look and answer me, O Yah Veh my Elohim! Light my eyes, lest I sleep in death;

²⁷ And Yah Nathan heard not his father oath the people with the oath: and he sends forth the end of the rod in his hand and dips it in a forest; and returns his hand to his mouth: and his eyes enlighten.

²⁹ Then Yah Nathan says, My father troubles the land: see, I beseech you, how my eyes enlighten, because I tasted a little of this honey.

⁸ And now for a little blink, supplication becomes from Yah Veh our Elohim - to allow escapees to survive, and to give us a stake in his holies, so that our Elohim lighten our eyes, and give us a little invigoration in our servitude.

¹ To His Eminence; On Flute; A Psalm by David. Hear my sayings, O Yah Veh; discern my meditation:

¹³ Grant me charism, O Yah Veh; see my humiliation of them who hate me - you who lift me from the portals of death;

²⁸ For you - you light my lamp; Yah Veh my Elohim illuminates my darkeness.

¹⁹ see my enemies; for they abound by the myriads: and they hate me with hatred of violence.

⁷ I cheer and twirl in your mercy for you see my humiliation; you know my soul in tribulations.

¹⁵³ RESH. See my humiliation and rescue me; for I forget not your torah:

³⁹ In their heat, I place their banquets; and I intoxicate them so that they jump for joy and sleep an eternal sleep and waken not - an oracle of Yah Veh.

⁵⁷ and I intoxicate her governors and her wise - her governors and her prefects and her mighty: and they sleep an eternal sleep and waken not - an oracle of the Sovereign whose name is Yah Veh Sabaoth.

THE FIFTH LAMENTATION
Remember, O Yah Veh, what becomes us; look and see our reproach:

³² a light of apocalypse to the goyim and the glory of your people Yisra El.

¹⁴ So he words, Rise you who sleep, and rise from the dead; and the Messiah illuminates you. ^{Isaiah 60:1,2}

²³ and the city needs neither the sun nor the moon to manifest therein: for the glory of Elohim lights it and the Lamb is the candle thereof.
