⁶ Blessed - Yah Veh, who gave us not as a prey to their teeth:

⁹ The enemy says, I pursue! I overtake! I allot the loot! My soul is filled of them: I draw my sword; my hand dispossesses them. ¹⁰ You puff your spirit/wind; the sea covers them: they sink as lead in the mighty waters.

³⁰ Found they not? Allot they the spoil to the head mighty? A maiden or two maidens to Sisera? A spoil of dyes - a spoil of dyes of embroidery - of dyes of embroidery on both sides for the necks of the spoilers? ³¹ Thus all your enemies destruct, O Yah Veh: but they who love him are as the sun when he goes in his might. - and the land rests forty years.

²⁰ And now, may my blood not fall to the earth at the face of Yah Veh: for the sovereign of Yisra El goes to seek one flea as one pursues a partridge in the mountains.

⁹ from the face of the wicked who ravage me - from my soul enemies who surround me.

¹³ In overthrowing, you overthrew me that I fell; and Yah Veh helped me.

⁵ I meditate on the glorious honor of your majesty and on your marvellous words: ⁶ and say of the strength of your awesome acts; I scribe your greatness:

¹⁴ and my hand found, as a nest, the valuables of the people: and as one gathers abandoned eggs, I gathered all the earth; and no one flapped the wing or gaped the mouth or chirped. ¹⁵ Boasts the ax over him who hews therewith? Or greatens the rasp over him who shakes it? - as a scion shakes them who lift it? Or as a rod lifts itself with no timber? ¹⁶ So Adonay - Adonay Sabaoth sends emaciation among his fatness; and under his honor he burns a burning as the burning of a fire: ¹⁷ and the light of Yisra El is for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and in one day it burns and consumes his thorns and his briers; ¹⁸ and finishes off the honor of his forest and of his orchard/Karmel - both soul and flesh: to become as when an ensignbearer melts: ¹⁹ and the survivors of the trees of his forest become a number, that even a lad can inscribe them.
