³⁵ The pleasure of the sovereign is toward a comprehending servant; and his outburst of passion is on one who shames.

⁴ The perverted heart turns aside from me; I know not evil: ⁵ whoever covertly tongue-lashes his friend, I exterminate: a lofty eye and an enlarged heart, I am not able. ⁶ My eyes are on the trustworthy of the land to settle with me; he who walks in an integrious way ministers to me; ⁷ he who works deceit settles not within my house; he who words falsehoods is not established in my eyes. ⁸ Mornings I exterminate all the wicked of the land; to cut off all mischievous from the city of Yah Veh.

⁵ He who harvests in summer is a comprehending son; he who sleeps soundly in harvest is a son who shames.

² A comprehending servant reigns over a son who shames; and allots the inheritance among the brothers.

¹² The rage of the sovereign is as the growling of a whelp; and his pleasure is as dew on the herbage. ¹³ A foolish son is the calamity of his father; and the contentions of a woman are a continual dripping.

²⁶ Whoever ravages his father and has his mother to flee, is a son that shames and blushes.

⁸ A sovereign who settles in the throne of pleading winnows all evil with his eyes.

²⁶ A wise sovereign winnows the wicked and turns the wheel over them.

¹¹ Whoever loves pureness of heart, his lips are charism; the sovereign his friend.

⁵ Remove the wicked from the face of the sovereign and his throne is established in justness.

¹² A sovereign who hearkens to false words - all his ministers are wicked.

⁴⁵ Who then is a trustworthy and thoughtful servant, whom his adoni seats ruler over his therapy to give them nourishment in due season? ⁴⁶ Blessed - that servant, whom, when his adoni comes, finds him thus doing. ⁴⁷ Amen! I word to you, He seats him over all his holdings. ⁴⁸ But whenever that evil servant says in his heart, My adoni takes his time coming; ⁴⁹ and begins to strike his co-servants and to eat and drink with the intoxicated; ⁵⁰ the adoni of that servant comes in a day when he expects not and in an hour he knows not; ⁵¹ and dichotomizes him and places his portion with the hypocrites: there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

²¹ His adoni says to him, Well done, you good and trustworthy servant: you are trustworthy over a little; I seat you over much: enter the cheer of your adoni.

²³ His adoni says to him, Well done, good and trustworthy servant; you are trustworthy over a little, I seat you over much: enter the cheer of your adoni.

⁴² And Adonay says, Who then is that trustworthy and thoughtful administrator whom his adoni seats over his therapy to give their measure of grain in due season? ⁴³ Blessed - that servant, whom, when his adoni comes, finds doing thus. ⁴⁴ Truly I word to you, that he seats him over all his holdings. ⁴⁵ But whenever that servant says in his heart, My adoni takes his time in coming; and he begins to strike the lads and lasses; and to eat and drink and to intoxicate; ⁴⁶ the adoni of that servant comes in a day he awaits him not and at an hour he knows not; and dichotomizes him, and places his portion with the trustless. ⁴⁷ And that servant, who knows the will of his adoni, who neither prepares nor does according to his will is flogged often. ⁴⁸ But whoever knows not whose doings are worthy of plagues is flogged little. For to whomever much is given, of him much is sought: and to whom men set forth much, of him they ask superabundantly.
