THE BIRTHDAY SUPPER OF HEROD
And so be it, an opportune day: and on his birthday Herod prepares a supper to his magistrates, chiliarchs and preeminent of Galiyl:

⁴¹ And Esav opposes Yaaqov because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esav says in his heart, The days of mourning for my father approach; then I slaughter my brother Yaaqov.

²⁰ And so be it, the third day, the birthday of Paroh, he works a banquet to all his servants: and he lifts the head of the governor of the butlers and the head of the governor of the bakers among his servants:

ABI SHALOM DEATHIFIES AMNON
And so be it, after two years of days, Abi Shalom has sheepshearers in Baal Hasor beside Ephrayim: and Abi Shalom calls all the sons of the sovereign: ²⁴ and Abi Shalom comes to the sovereign and says, Behold now, your servant has sheepshearers; may the sovereign, I beseech you, and his servants go with your servant. ²⁵ And the sovereign says to Abi Shalom, No, my son, not all of us go now lest we be too heavy to you. - and he breaches on him; but he wills to not go; and he blesses him. ²⁶ And Abi Shalom says, If not, I pray you, have my brother Amnon go with us. And the sovereign says to him, Why have him go with you? ²⁷ And Abi Shalom breaches on him to send Amnon away with all the sons of the sovereign. ²⁸ And Abi Shalom misvahs his lads, saying, Now see, when the heart of Amnon is good with wine, and I say to you, Smite Amnon! Deathify him! Awe not! I - misvah I you not? Strengthen! Sons of valour! ²⁹ And the lads of Abi Shalom work to Amnon as Abi Shalom misvahs: and all the sons of the sovereign rise and every man rides on his mule and flees.

³ in the third year of his reign, he works a banquet to all his governors and his servants; the virtuous of Persia and Maday, the nobles and governors of the jurisdictions at his face; ⁴ and he shows them the riches of the honor of his sovereigndom and the esteem of the adornment of his greatness many days - even a hundred and eighty days. ⁵ And in the fulfilling of these days the sovereign works a banquet to all the people found in Shushan palace both to great and small seven days in the court of the garden of the palace of the sovereign; ⁶ - white, byssus and blue held with cords of bleached cotton and purple to silver rings and pillars of white marble; the beds of gold and silver on a pavement of bright and white marble and pearl and black tile; ⁷ and they give them drink in instruments of gold - instruments differing from instruments and wine of the sovereigndom in abundance according to the hand of the sovereign.

¹⁸ And the sovereign works a great banquet to all his governors and his servants, - the banquet of Ester; and he works a rest to the jurisdictions and gives loads according to the hand of the sovereign.

⁷ In the first month - the month Nisan in the twelfth year of sovereign Achash Rosh, they fell Pur, that is, the pebble, at the face of Haman from day to day and from month to month to the twelfth - that is, the month Adar.

¹² The wicked intrigues against the just and gnashes on him with his teeth. ¹³ Adonay laughs at him; for he sees his day coming.

THE FEAST OF BEL SHATS TSAR
Bel Shats Tsar the sovereign makes a great feast to a thousand of his nobles; and drinks fermentation in front of the thousand. ² Bel Shats Tsar, as he tastes the fermentation, says to bring the golden and silver vessels his father Nebukadnets Tsar removed from the manse in Yeru Shalem; for the sovereign and his nobles, his mistresses and his concubines to drink. ³ Then they bring the golden vessels they removed from the manse of the house of Elah at Yeru Shalem; and the sovereign and his nobles, his mistresses and his concubines drink in them. ⁴ They drink fermentation; and laud the elahim of gold and of silver, of copper, of iron, of timber and of stone.

⁵ In the day of our sovereign the governors stroke him with wine of fury; he draws his hand with scorners:

Now in the fifteenth year of the governing of Kaisar Tiberius, Pontius Pilatos being governor of Yah Hudah, and Herod tetrarch of Galiyl, and his brother Phillipos tetrarch of Yetur and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,

³ Enough of the past time of our existence! - working the will of the goyim - walking in lechery, pantings, vinolence, carousings, drinking bouts, and illicit idolatries:

¹⁰ And they who settle on the earth cheer over them and rejoice; and send honorariums to one another; because these two prophets tortured them who settle on the earth.
