¹⁴ Your prophets see your vanity and your slime; and they expose not your perversity to turn your captivity; but see for you vain burdens and seductions.

¹⁵ The elder and lifted face, he is the head; and the prophet teaching falsehood, he is the tail. ¹⁶ For this people who blithe them cause them to stray; and the blithed are swallowed.

Call out with the throat! Spare not! Lift your voice as a shophar and tell my people their rebellion; and the house of Yaaqov their sins.

⁸ The priests say not, Where is Yah Veh? and they who manipulate the torah know me not and the tenders rebel against me; and the prophets prophesy by Baal and walk after those who benefit not.

³¹ the prophets prophesy falsely and the priests subjugate by their hands; and thus my people love it. And what work you in the end?

¹³ For from their least, even to their greatest, every one greedily gains to greedy gain; and from the prophet, even to the priest, every one works falsely: ¹⁴ and they heal the breeching of my people slightly, saying, Shalom! Shalom! when there is no shalom.

¹⁰ So I give their women to others and their fields to their successors: for every one from the least even to the greatest greedily gains to greedy gain - from the prophet even to the priest - every one works falsely. ¹¹ And they heal the breech of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Shalom! Shalom! when there is no shalom.

¹³ And I say, Aha! Adonay Yah Veh! Behold, the prophets say to them, You neither see the sword, nor famine; for I give you the shalom of truth in this place. ¹⁴ And Yah Veh says to me, The prophets prophesy falsehoods in my name: I neither sent them nor misvahed them nor worded to them: they prophesy to you a false vision and divination and worthlessness and the deceit of their heart. ¹⁵ So thus says Yah Veh concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, whom I sent not, yet they say, Sword and famine become not in this land; the sword and famine consumes those prophets:

¹¹ For both prophet and priest profane; yes, in my house I found their evil - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹² So their way is to them as slippery in the darkness: they are overthrown and fall therein: for I bring evil on them - the year of their visitation - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹³ And I see frivolity in the prophets of Shomeron; they prophesy in Baal, and stray my people Yisra El: ¹⁴ and I see a horror in the prophets of Yeru Shalem; they adulterize and walk in falsehoods: yes, they strengthen the hands of vilifiers so that no man returns from his evil: they all are to me as Sedom and the settlers as Amorah. ¹⁵ So thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth concerning the prophets: Behold, I feed them with wormwood and have them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Yeru Shalem profaneness goes into all the land. ¹⁶ Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: Hearken not to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you: they make you vain: they word a vision of their own heart - not from the mouth of Yah Veh. ¹⁷ In saying, they say to them who scorn me, Yah Veh words, Shalom to you! - and they say to every one who walks after the warp of his own heart, Evil comes not on you!

²² But had they stood in my private counsel and had my people heard my words, then they had turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their exploits.

²⁵ I hear what the prophets say - who prophesy falsehoods in my name, saying, I dreamed! I dreamed! ²⁶ Until when is this in the heart of the prophets who prophesy falsehoods? - yes, prophets of the deceit of their own heart; ²⁷ who fabricate to have my people forget my name by the dreams they scribe every man to his friend - as their fathers forgot my name for Baal. ²⁸ The prophet, having a dream, have him scribe a dream; and he, having my word, have him word my word in truth. What is the straw to the grain? - an oracle of Yah Veh. ²⁹ Is not my word thus as a fire? - an oracle of Yah Veh and as a hammer shattering the rock?

³¹ Behold, I am against the prophets - an oracle of Yah Veh who take their tongues and say, - an oracle! ³² Behold, I am against them who prophesy false dreams - an oracle of Yah Veh and scribe them; and stray my people by their falsehoods and by their frothiness; and I - I neither sent them nor misvahed them: in benefitting, they benefit this people not - an oracle of Yah Veh. ³³ And when this people or the prophet or a priest ask you, saying, What is the burden of Yah Veh? Say to them, What burden? I abandoned you - an oracle of Yah Veh. ³⁴ And the prophet and the priest and the people who say, The burden of Yah Veh! I visit upon that man and upon his house.

³⁶ And you - remember the burden of Yah Veh no more for the word of every man is his burden; for you perverted the words of the living Elohim - of Yah Veh Sabaoth our Elohim.

⁹ And you, hearken neither to your prophets nor to your diviners nor to your dreamers nor to your cloudgazers nor to your sorcerers who speak to you, saying, You, serve not the sovereign of Babel: ¹⁰ for they prophesy a falsehood to you to remove you far from your soil: and that I drive you out and you destruct.

¹⁴ And hearken not to the words of the prophets who say to you, saying, You, serve not the sovereign of Babel: for they prophesy a falsehood to you: ¹⁵ for I sent them not - an oracle of Yah Veh: yet they prophesy a falsehood in my name; so that I drive you out and that you destruct - you and the prophets who prophesy to you. ¹⁶ And I worded to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says Yah Veh: Hearken not to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the instruments of the house of Yah Veh now return quickly from Babel! - for they prophesy a falsehood to you.

¹⁵ And the prophet Yirme Yah says to Hanan Yah the prophet, Hear, I beseech, Hanan Yah; Yah Veh sent you not; and you have this people confide in a falsehood:

⁸ For thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El: See that your prophets and your diviners among you deceive you not, and hearken not to the dreams they have you dream: ⁹ for they prophesy falsehood to you in my name: I sent them not - an oracle of Yah Veh.

¹⁹ Where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, The sovereign of Babel comes not against you or against this land?

² Son of humanity, prophesy against the prophets of Yisra El who prophesy: and to them who prophesy from their own hearts, say, Hear the word of Yah Veh; ³ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Ho to the foolish prophets who walk after their own spirit, and see naught! ⁴ O Yisra El, your prophets are as the foxes in the parched areas. ⁵ You neither ascend into the breaches nor wall the wall for the house of Yisra El to stand in the war in the day of Yah Veh. ⁶ They see vanity and lying divination, saying, - An oracle of Yah Veh! and Yah Veh sent them not: and they hope to confirm the word. ⁷ You saw neither a vain vision, nor a lying divination say, saying, - An oracle of Yah Veh! Have I not worded? ⁸ So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because you word vanity and see lies - so behold, I am against you - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh ⁹ and my hand becomes on the prophets, seers of vanity and diviners of lies: they are neither in the private counsel of my people, nor inscribed in the inscribing of the house of Yisra El, nor enter they the soil of Yisra El; and you know I - Adonay Yah Veh. ¹⁰ Because, even because they seduce my people, saying, Shalom; and there is no shalom; and one builds a wall; and behold, others daub it with slime. ¹¹ Say to them who daub it with slime, It falls! There becomes an overflowing downpour; and you, O great hailstones, fall: and a stormy wind splits: ¹² behold, when the wall falls, say they not to you, Where is the daubing with which you daubed? ¹³ So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I split it with a stormy wind in my fury; and so be it, an overflowing downpour in my wrath and great hailstones in my fury to fully finish it off: ¹⁴ thus I demolish the wall you daubed with slime so that it touches to the earth, so that the foundation exposes and falls and finishes you off in the midst: and you know I - Yah Veh. ¹⁵ Thus I finish off my fury on the wall and on them who daubed it with slime and say to you, The wall is not: they who daubed it are not; ¹⁶ - the prophets of Yisra El who prophesy concerning Yeru Shalem - seers of visions of shalom for her and there is no shalom - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.

²² Because with falsehoods you pain the heart of the just, whom I pain not; and strengthen the hands of the evil that he not return from his wicked way, by enlivening him:

²⁵ - a conspiracy of prophets in her midst: as a roaring lion tearing the prey, they devour souls: they take the wealthy and esteemed; they abound her widows in her midst:

²⁸ and her prophets daub them with slime - seers of vanity, divining lies to them, saying, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: when Yah Veh words not.

¹¹ If a man walking with spirit/wind and with falsehood lies, saying, I drip to you of wine and of intoxicants; he drips to this people.

⁵ Thus says Yah Veh concerning the prophets who stray my people - who bite with their teeth and call out, Shalom; who give not into their mouths, and hallow war against him. ⁶ So your night is without a vision and darkness without a divination: and the sun goes down over the prophets and the day darkens over them: ⁷ and the seers shame and the diviners blush: yes, they all cover their upper lip; for there is no answer, O Elohim.

⁴ her prophets are frothy and covert men; her priests profane the holies; they violate the torah:

PSEUDOPROPHETS AND PSEUDODOCTORS
And so be it also, pseudoprophets among the people - even as pseudodoctors become among you who surreptitiously introduce destructive heresies - even denying the Despotes who marketed them; and bring quick destruction on themselves. ² And many follow their destructive ways - who blaspheme the way of truth: ³ and in avarice they fabricate words and merchandise of you: whose judgment of old idles not and their destruction slumbers not.
