²⁰ When you forsake Yah Veh and serve strange elohim he turns and vilifies you and finishes you off after he has well-pleased you.

¹² Else, if in turning back, you turn back, and adhere to the remnant of these goyim who survive among you - and intermarry with them and go in to them and they to you. ¹³ In knowing, know this: Yah Veh your Elohim adds not to dispossess these goyim from your face; and they become snares - snares to you and scourges in your sides and thorns in your eyes* until you destruct from off this good soil which Yah Veh your Elohim has given you. ¹⁴ And behold, this day I go the way of all the earth: and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word falls of all the good words Yah Veh your Elohim worded concerning you; all comes to you; not one word thereof falls. ¹⁵ So be it, as all good words come on you, which Yah Veh your Elohim words you; thus Yah Veh brings on you all evil words, until he desolates you from off this good soil which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you;

⁹ And you, Shelomoh my son, know the Elohim of your father; and serve him with a heart of shalom and with a soul of desire: for Yah Veh examines all hearts and discerns all the imaginations of fabrications: if you seek him, you find him; and if you forsake him, he abandons you eternally.

² and he goes out at the face of Asa and says to him, Hear me, Asa and all Yah Hudah and Ben Yamin; Yah Veh is with you, in your being with him; and if you seek him, he is found of you; but if you forsake him, he forsakes you.

²² for I shame to ask the sovereign for men of valour and cavalry to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had said to the sovereign, saying, The hand of our Elohim is on all who seek him for good; but his strength and his wrath is against all who forsake him:

²⁸ and the breaking of the rebels and of the sinners is together, and they who forsake Yah Veh are finished off.

¹⁰ And they rebelled and contorted his holy Spirit: and he turned to be their enemy - he fought against them:

¹¹ And you are they who forsake Yah Veh who forget my holy mountain; who line up a table for Gad; and who fulfill the cocktails to Fate: ¹² and I number you to the sword and you all kneel to the slaughter: because when I called, you answered not; when I worded, you heard not; but worked evil in front of my eyes and chose that wherein I delighted not.

¹³ O Yah Veh, the expectation of Yisra El, all who forsake you, shame; and they who turn aside from me are inscribed in the earth, because they forsook Yah Veh the fountain of living waters.

²⁴ But when the just turns from his justness, and works wickedness, and works according to all the abhorrences the wicked work, lives he? All the justness he worked are not remembered: in his treason, he treasoned, and in the sin he sinned, he dies.

⁴² But Elohim turns, and surrenders them to liturgize the host of the heavens; exactly as scribed in the scroll of the prophets, You, house of Yisra El, offer you slaughters and sacrifices to me by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

SINNING VOLUNTARILY
For if we sin voluntarily after we take the knowledge of the truth, there remains not still sacrifice for sins; ²⁷ but an awesome expectation of judgment and zeal of fire to consume the opposers.

³⁸ And the just live by trust: and whenever anyone withdraws, my soul thinks not well in him. ^{Habakkuk 2:3, 4}
