⁸ For what is the hope of the profaner, though he gains, when Elohah extracts his soul?

¹³ Thus are the paths of all who forget El; and the hope of the profaner destructs

²⁰ And the eyes of the wicked finish off and flight destructs from them and their hope is as the expiration of the soul.

¹⁶ Also he is my salvation; for no profaner comes at this face.

³⁴ For the witness of profaners sterilizes; and fire consumes the tents of bribery:

⁵ that the shouting of the wicked is near? and the cheer of the profaner is for a blink?

³ Is not calamity to the wicked? - a strangeness to the doers of mischief?

¹⁴ The sinners in Siyon fear; trembling holds the profaners. Who among us sojourns with the consuming fire? Who among us sojourns with eternal burnings? ¹⁵ He who walks in justness and words straightly; he who spurns the gain of oppressions; who shakes his palms from upholding bribes; who shuts his ears from hearing of blood and binds his eyes from seeing evil:

²⁶ for what is a human benefited whenever he gains the whole cosmos and loses his own soul? Or what gives a human in exchange for his soul?

But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you shut the sovereigndom of the heavens in front of humanity: for neither you enter nor allow those entering to enter.

³⁶ For what is a human benefited whenever he gains the whole cosmos and loses his own soul? ³⁷ Or what gives a human in exchange for his soul?

²⁵ For what is a human benefited having gained the whole cosmos and lose himself - or be lost?

²⁰ And Elohim says to him, Thoughtless! This night your soul is required of you: so whose are those that you prepared? ²¹ Thus is he who treasures for himself, and is not rich toward Elohim.

⁹ And whoever wills to be rich falls into testing and a snare; and into many mindless and injurious pantings, which sink humanity in ruin and destruction. ¹⁰ For befriending silver is the root of all evil: which, while some reach for, strayed from the trust and pierced themselves through with many griefs.

TREASURING TREASURES
Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries coming upon you. ² Your riches putrefy and your garments become motheaten: ³ your gold and silver rust; and their rust becomes a witness against you to consume your flesh as fire. You treasured in the final days.
