¹⁴ The murderer rising with the light severs the humble and needy as a thief in the night:

¹⁴ And so be it, in the morning, David inscribes a scroll to Yah Ab and sends it by the hand of Uri Yah: ¹⁵ and he inscribes in the scroll, saying, Give Uri Yah at the face of the strongest war and you turn back from after him that he be smitten and die. ¹⁶ And so be it, Yah Ab guards the city; and he gives Uri Yah to a place where he knows there are valiant men: ¹⁷ and the men of the city go and fight Yah Ab: and there fall of the people of the servants of David; and Uri Yah the Hethiy also dies.

⁸ he settles in the lurks of the courts; he slaughters the innocent in the coverts; he hides his eyes from the unfortunate: ⁹ he lurks in the coverts as a lion in his sukkoth/brush arbor; he lurks to catch the humble; he catches the humble drawing him into his net. ¹⁰ He crushes; he prostrates; his mighty fells the army of the unfortunates.

¹ Ho to them who fabricate mischief - who work evil on their beds! In the light of the morning, they work because it is in the el of their hand: ² and they desire fields and strip them; and houses, and bear them away: and oppress a mighty and his house - even a man and his inheritance.

³⁹ And know this, that if the housedespotes knows what hour the thief comes he watches; and allows not his house to be broken through.

⁷ So be not co-partakers. ⁸ For formerly you were darkness and now light in Adonay: walk as children of light: ⁹ for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and justness and truth; ¹⁰ proving what is well-pleasing to Adonay. ¹¹ And co-partake not with the unfruitful works of darkness - but rather reprove them.

² For yourselves know precisely that the day of Adonay comes thus - as a thief in the night.

³ So remember how you took and heard: and guard and repent: so whenever you watch not I come upon you as a thief; and you never no way know what hour I come upon you.
