WORD AGAINST THE PELESHETHIYM
And so be the word of Yah Veh to Yirme Yah the prophet against the Peleshethiym ere Paroh smote Azzah. 2 Thus says Yah Veh: Behold, waters ascending from the north become an overflowing wadi; and overflow the land and its fulness - the city and they who settle therein: and humanity cries out and all the settlers of the land howl. 3 At the voice of the stamping of the hoofs of his mighty, at the quake of his chariots, and at the roar of his wheels, the fathers face not the sons for slackness of hands; 4 because of the day that comes to ravage all the Peleshethiym; and to cut off from Sor and Sidon every survivor who helps: for Yah Veh ravages the Peleshethiym, the survivors of the island of Kaphtor. 5 Baldness comes on Azzah; Ashkelon is severed with the survivors of their valley: How long incise you yourself? 6 Ho, you sword of Yah Veh, how long ere you rest? Gather your sheath; rest and hush. 7 How rests it, seeing Yah Veh misvahs against Ashkelon? - and against the sea haven? There he congregates.

THE BURDEN OF SOR
The burden of Sor: Howl, you ships of Tarshish; for it is ravaged, so that there is neither house nor entering in: from the land of Kittim it was exposed to them. 2 Be still, you settlers of the island; you whom the merchants of Sidon, who, passing over the sea, fulfilled. 3 And by great waters is the seed of Shichor; the harvest of the river is her produce; and she is a merchant of goyim. 4 Shame, O Sidon: for the sea says - even the stronghold of the sea says, I neither writhe, nor birth; neither nourish youths, nor raise virgins. 5 As at the report concerning Misrayim, they writhe at the report of Sor. 6 You, pass over to Tarshish; howl, you settlers of the island. 7 Is this your city jumping for joy - whose antiquity is of ancient days? - her own feet bear her afar off to sojourn. 8 Who takes this counsel against Sor, the crown - whose merchants are governors? - Whose merchants are the honorable of the earth? 9 Yah Veh Sabaoth counsels it to profane the pomp of all splendour and to abase all the honorable of the earth. 10 Pass through your land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more girdle. 11 He spreads his hand over the sea, he quakes the sovereigndoms: Yah Veh misvahs against Kenaan to desolate the strong holds. 12 And he says, You, add not to jump for joy, O you oppressed virgin, daughter of Sidon: rise, pass over to Kittim; even there you rest not. 13 Behold the land of the Kesediym: this people was not; the Ashshuri founded it for the desert dwellers: they raise the towers; they strip bare the citadels; and he sets it to ruin. 14 Howl, you ships of Tarshish: for your stronghold is ravaged. 15 And so be it, in that day, that Sor is forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one sovereign: after the end of seventy years it becomes to Sor as the song of the whore. 16 Take a harp; go about the city, you forgotten whore: strum well-pleasingly; abound the song; so that they remember you. 17 And so be it, after the end of seventy years, Yah Veh visits Sor; and she turns to her payoff and whores with all the sovereigndoms of the earth upon the face of the soil: 18 and her merchandise and her payoff are holy to Yah Veh - neither treasured nor hoarded; for her merchandise is for them settling at the face of Yah Veh - to eat to satiation; and for antique covering.

Halal, you chariots! Go forth, you mighty! - Kushies and Puties, manipulating the buckler; and Ludiym, manipulating and bending the bow: 10 for this is the day of Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth - a day of avengement, to avenge him of his tribulators: and the sword devours and satiates - satiates with their blood for a sacrifice to Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth in the north land by the river Euphrates.

1
THE WORD OF YAH VEH CONCERNING SOR
And so be it, in the eleventh year, in the first of the month, the word of Yah Veh is to me, saying, 2 Son of humanity, because Sor says against Yeru Shalem, saying, Aha, she is broken - the doors of the people: she turns to me: I am fulfilled; she is parched. 3 So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Behold, I am against you, O Sor, and I ascend many goyim against you, as the sea ascends his waves: 4 and they ruin the walls of Sor and break down her towers: and I scrape her dust from her and give her as the clearing of a rock. 5 and so be it for the spreading of nets midst the sea: I - I have worded - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh and so be it, a plunder to the goyim: 6 and her daughters in the field are slaughtered by the sword; and they know I - Yah Veh. 7 For thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Behold, I bring on Sor Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel - a sovereign of sovereigns, from the north, with horses and with chariots and with cavalry and congregations and much people. 8 He slaughters your daughters with the sword in the field: and he gives a battering tower against you and pours a mound against you and raises the shield against you: 9 and he give battering rams against your walls and with his sword he pulls down your towers. 10 By the throngs of his horses their dust covers you: your walls quake at the voice of the cavalry and of the wheels and of the chariots - when he enters into your portals is as entering into a split city.

Ezekiel 26:10-21

10 By the throngs of his horses their dust covers you: your walls quake at the voice of the cavalry and of the wheels and of the chariots - when he enters into your portals is as entering into a split city. 11 With the hoofs of his horses he tramples all your outways: he slaughters your people by the sword and lowers your monoliths of strength to the earth.

Ezekiel 26:11-21

11 With the hoofs of his horses he tramples all your outways: he slaughters your people by the sword and lowers your monoliths of strength to the earth. 12 And they plunder your valuables and plunder your merchandise: and they break down your walls and pull down your pleasant houses: and they set your stones and your timber and your dust midst the water. 13 And I shabbathize the roar of your songs and the voice of your harps are heard no more: 14 and I give you as the clearing of a rock to spread nets on: you are built no more: for I Yah Veh have worded - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh. 15 Thus says Adonay Yah Veh to Sor: Quake not the islands at the voice of your ruin when the pierced shriek? When the slaughter is slaughtered in your midst? 16 And all the hierarchs of the sea descend from their thrones and turn aside their mantles; they strip their clothes of embroidery and enrobe themselves with trembling; they sit on the earth and tremble in a blink and astonish at you: 17 and they lift a lamentation for you, and say to you, How you destruct, you settled of the seas; the renowned city - strong in the sea; she and her settlers, who give their terror on all who settle it! 18 Now the islands tremble in the day of your ruin; yes, the islands in the sea terrify at your departure. 19 For thus says Adonay Yah Veh: When I give you as a parched city, as the cities not settled; when I ascend the abyss on you and great waters cover you; 20 when I descend you with them descending into the well - to the original people, and settle you in the nethermost of the earth - in the original parched areas with them descending to the well, so that you not settle; and I give splendor in the land of the living. 21 I give you as terrors, and you are no more: though you are sought for, yet you are not eternally found again - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.

Zephaniah 2:4-7

4 For Azzah is forsaken and Ashkelon a desolation: they drive out Ashdod at noon and uproot Eqron. 5 Ho to the settlers of the sea boundary - the goyim of the Kerethiym! the word of Yah Veh is against you; O Kenaan, the land of the Peleshethiym: I even destroy you, without settler. 6 And the sea boundary becomes habitations of rest and meadows for tenders and walls for flocks: 7 and the boundary becomes for the survivors of the house of Yah Hudah to graze thereon: in the houses of Ashkelon they crouch in the evening: for Yah Veh their Elohim visits them and restores their captivity.

Zechariah 9:2-5

2 and Hamath borders thereby; and Sor and Sidon enwisen mightily: 3 and Sor builds herself a rampart; and heaps silver as the dust and ore as the mire of the outways. 4 Behold, Adonay casts her out and smites her valiant in the sea; and fire consumes her: 5 Ashkelon sees and awes; Azzah also sees and writhes mightily; and Eqron shames for her expectation; and the sovereign destructs from Azzah, and Ashkelon settles not:
