⁸ for I word enough; I call out; I cry violence and ravage; because of the word of Yah Veh is a reproach to me; and a ridicule, daily.

¹⁶ and they deride the angels of Elohim and despise his words and deceive his prophets until the fury of Yah Veh ascends against his people - until there is no healing.

¹⁹ My inwards! My inwards! I writhe at the walls of my heart; my heart roars within me; I cannot hush, because you hear, O my soul, the voice of the shophar - the blast of war. ²⁰ Breech upon breech is called out; for the whole land is ravaged: suddenly my tents are ravaged - and my curtains in a blink. ²¹ Until when see I the ensign and hear the voice of the shophar? ²² For my people are foolish, they know me not; foolish sons and they discern not: wise to vilify and to well-please they know not.

THE SEARCH FOR THE MAN WHO WORKS JUDGMENT
Flit through the outways of Yeru Shalem; and see, I beseech, and know; and seek in the broadways - if you find a man - if there be any who work judgment - who seek trustworthiness; and I forgive.

⁶ So a lion from the forest smites them; a wolf from the plains ravages them; a leopard watches over their cities; every one who comes out thence is torn - because their rebellions abound by the myriads and their apostasies are mighty.

¹⁵ Behold, I bring a goyim on you from afar, O house of Yisra El, - an oracle of Yah Veh - a perennial goyim - an eternal goyim - a goyim - you neither know their tongue nor hear their word: ¹⁶ their quiver is as an open tomb; they all are mighty: ¹⁷ and they eat your harvest and your bread which your sons and your daughters eat: they eat your flocks and your herds; they eat your vines and your fig trees; they impoverish your fortified cities, wherein you confide, with the sword.

⁶ For thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth, Cut down trees; and pour a mound against Yeru Shalem - the city to visit; total oppression is in her midst. ⁷ As digging a well for waters, thus she digs her evil: violence and ravage is heard in her; at my face continually is sickness and wounds.

¹⁰ To whom word I, and witness to them to hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of Yah Veh is their reproach; they delight not therein:

⁹ you steal, murder, and adulterize, and oath falsely and incense to Baal; and walk after other elohim whom you know not:

¹³ Then you say to them, Thus says Yah Veh, Behold, I fill all the settlers of this land, even the sovereigns who sit on the throne of David and the priests and the prophets and all the settlers of Yeru Shalem with intoxication: ¹⁴ and I shatter them, man against brother - even the fathers and the sons together - an oracle of Yah Veh: I neither compassion nor spare nor mercy - for their ruin.

JUDGMENT
And Yah Veh says to me, Though Mosheh and Shemu El stand at my face, yet my soul is not toward this people: send them from my face, and go. ² And so be it, if they say to you, Where go we? you say to them, Thus says Yah Veh: Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity: ³ and upon them I visit four families - an oracle of Yah Veh the sword to slaughter and the dogs to drag and the flyers of the heavens and the animals of the earth to devour and ruin: ⁴ and I give them for an agitation into all sovereigndoms of the earth, because of Menash Sheh the son of Yechizqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah, for what he worked in Yeru Shalem.

¹³ I give your valuables and your treasures to the plunder without price; and that for all your sins, even in all your borders: ¹⁴ and I pass you and your enemies into a land you know not: for a fire kindles in my wrath which burns on you.

²⁷ And if you hearken not to me to hallow the shabbath day, and to not bear a burden, even entering at the portals of Yeru Shalem on the shabbath day; then I kindle a fire in the portals; and it consumes the citadels of Yeru Shalem, and quenches not.

¹⁶ to set their land desolate - an eternal hissing; every one who passes by astonishes and wags his head. ¹⁷ I scatter them as with an east wind at the face of the enemy; I have them see the neck and not the face in the day of their calamity.

⁷ and I vacate the counsel of Yah Hudah and Yeru Shalem in this place; and I fell them by the sword at the face of their enemies, and by the hands of them seeking their souls: and I give their carcases for food for the flyers of the heavens and for the animals of the earth: ⁸ and I set this city desolate and a hissing: every one who passes by astonishes and hisses because of all the wounds. ⁹ And I feed them the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters; and every man eats the flesh of his friend in the siege and distress, whereby their enemies and they seeking their souls, distress them. ¹⁰ And you break the bottle in the eyes of the men going with you, ¹¹ and say to them, Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: Thus I break this people and this city, as one breaks an instrument of the former that it cannot be healed again: and they entomb them in Topheth until there is no place to entomb.

THE COMPLAINT OF YIRME YAH
O Yah Veh, you delude me and I am deluded: you are stronger than I and you prevail: I am ridiculed daily; every one derides me:

⁸ the prophets who were at my face and at your face originally prophesied both against many lands and against great sovereigndoms - of war and of evil and of pestilence.

⁶¹ You hear their reproach, O Yah Veh, and all their machinations against me; ⁶² the lips of those who rise against me and their meditation against me all the day. ⁶³ Look at their sitting and their rising; I am their satire.

⁴⁵ And one of the torahists answers, wording, Doctor, Thus wording, you also insult us.

²⁶ esteeming the reproach of the Messiah greater riches than the treasures in Misrayim: for he looked to the recompence.

¹³ So go forth to him outside the encampment, bearing his reproach.

¹⁴ If you are reproached in the name of Messiah, Blessed! - because the spirit of glory and of Elohim rests upon you: on their part he is indeed blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.
