¹⁴ Thus says Yah Veh, your redeemer, the Holy One of Yisra El; for your sake I sent to Babel, and brought down all their fugitives, and the Kesediym, whose shouting is in the ships.

¹⁴ May the sayings of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing at your face, O Yah Veh, my rock and my redeemer.

¹³ Behold the land of the Kesediym: this people was not; the Ashshuri founded it for the desert dwellers: they raise the towers; they strip bare the citadels; and he sets it to ruin.

YAH VEH, THE REDEEMER
And now thus says Yah Veh who created you, O Yaaqov, and he who formed you, O Yisra El, Awe not, for I redeemed you; I called your name; you are mine.

³ For I - Yah Veh your Elohim, the Holy One of Yisra El, your Saviour: I gave Misrayim for your koper/atonement, Kush and Seba for you. ⁴ Since you are precious in my eyes, honorable, and I love you: so I give humanity for you and nations for your soul.

⁶ Thus says Yah Veh the Sovereign of Yisra El, and his redeemer Yah Veh Sabaoth; I - the first, and I - the final; and except me, there is no Elohim.

²⁴ Thus says Yah Veh your redeemer - he who formed you from the belly, I - Yah Veh who worked all; who alone spread the heavens; who expanded the earth by myself:

⁵ For your Worker is your master; Yah Veh Sabaoth is his name; and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Yisra El; the Elohim of the whole earth he is called. ⁶ For Yah Veh called you as a woman forsaken and contorted in spirit, and a woman of youth when she is refused, says your Elohim. ⁷ For a small blink I forsook you; but with great mercies I gather you: ⁸ in an outburst of rage I hid my face from you for a blink; and in eternal mercy I mercy you, says Yah Veh your Redeemer.

² Tell you among the goyim and have them hear; and lift an ensign: have them hear; and conceal not: say, Babel is captured, Bel is shamed, Merodach is broken: her idols are shamed; her idols are broken. ³ For from the north a goyim ascends against her who places her land desolate; and no one settles therein: they wander; they depart; - both humanity and animal. ⁴ In those days, and in that time, - an oracle of Yah Veh the sons of Yisra El come - they and the sons of Yah Hudah together coming and weeping: they come and seek Yah Veh their Elohim: ⁵ they ask the way to Siyon with their faces toward, Come; we join ourselves to Yah Veh in an eternal covenant, not forgotten. ⁶ My people became lost flocks their tenders strayed them, they apostatized them on the mountains: going from mountain to hill they forgot their repose. ⁷ All who find them devour them: and their tribulators say, We guilt not! - because they sinned against Yah Veh the habitation of rest of justness; - Yah Veh, the expectation of their fathers. ⁸ Wander from the midst of Babel and come from the land of the Kesediym; and be as the he goats at the face of the flocks. ⁹ For, behold, I waken and against Babel I ascend a congregation of great goyim from the north land: and they line up against her; from thence they capture her: their arrows as of a mighty discerner; no one returns in vain. ¹⁰ And Kesediym becomes a spoil: all who spoil her satiate - an oracle of Yah Veh ¹¹ because you cheer - because you jump for joy O you plunderers of my inheritance, because you grow fat as the heifer at grass and resound as the mighty;

¹⁷ Yisra El is a scattered lamb; the lions drive him away: first the sovereign of Ashshur devours him; and last this Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel craunches his bones. ¹⁸ So thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El; Behold, I visit on the sovereign of Babel and his land, as I visited on the sovereign of Ashshur:

²⁷ parch all her bullocks; descend them to the slaughter. Ho to them! for their day is come - the time of their visitation. ²⁸ The voice of them who flee and escape from the land of Babel, to tell in Siyon the avengement of Yah Veh our Elohim - the avengement of his manse. ²⁹ Hearken the archers against Babel all you who bend the bow: encamp against it all around; that there be no escapees: shalam her according to her deeds; work to her according to all she worked: for she is proud against Yah Veh - against the Holy One of Yisra El. ³⁰ So fell her youths in the broadways and sever all her men of war in that day - an oracle of Yah Veh. ³¹ Behold, I am against you, O Arrogance! - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth for your day is come - to visit you: ³² and the arrogant to falter and fall with no one to raise him: and I kindle a fire in his cities, and it consumes all all around him. ³³ Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth; The sons of Yisra El and the sons of Yah Hudah are oppressed: and all who capture them hold them; they refuse to send them away. ³⁴ Their Redeemer is strong; Yah Veh Sabaoth is his name: in pleading, he pleads their plea - to rest the land and quake the settlers of Babel.

THE JUDGMENT OF BABEL
Thus says Yah Veh; Behold, I waken a ruinous wind/spirit against Babel and against them who settle in the heart of them - who rouse: ² and I send strangers to Babel to winnow her and evacuate her land: for in the day of evil they are against her all around. ³ In bending, the bender neither bends his bow, nor ascends in his brigandine: spare not her youths; devote all her host. ⁴ Thus the pierced fall in the land of the Kesediym and the thrust through in her outways. ⁵ For neither is Yisra El abandoned nor Yah Hudah by his Elohim Yah Veh Sabaoth; though their land is filled with guilt against the Holy One of Yisra El. ⁶ Flee from midst Babel, and rescue every man his soul: be not severed in her perversity; for this is the time of the avengement of Yah Veh; in dealing shalom, he deals shalom to her. ⁷ In the hand of Yah Veh, Babel is a golden cup that intoxicates all the earth: the goyim drink of her wine and so the goyim halal. ⁸ Suddenly Babel falls and breaks: howl for her; take balm for her sorrow, if so be, she heals. ⁹ We heal Babel, and she heals not: forsake her; and go every man into his own land: for her judgment touches to the heavens, - lifts to the vapours. ¹⁰ Yah Veh brings forth our justness: come, and scribe in Siyon the work of Yah Veh our Elohim: ¹¹ polish the arrows; fill the shields: Yah Veh wakens the spirit of the sovereigns of the Maday: for his intrigue is against Babel, to ruin therein; because it is the avengement of Yah Veh - the avengement of his manse.

²⁴ and I shalam to Babel and to all the settlers of Kesediym all the evil they worked in Siyon in your eyes - an oracle of Yah Veh.

³⁴ Nebukadnets Tsar the sovereign of Babel devours us; crushes us: he sets me an empty instrument; he swallows me up as a monster; he fills his belly with my pleasures; he thrusts me away. ³⁵ My violence, and that of my flesh is on Babel, say the settlers of Siyon; and my blood on the settlers of Kesediym, says Yeru Shalem. ³⁶ So thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I plead your plea, and avenge your avengement: and I parch her sea and dry her fountains: ³⁷ and Babel becomes heaps - a habitation for monsters - a desolation and a hissing without a settler:

²⁹ and all who manipulate the oar - the mariners and all the sailers of the sea descend from their ships; they stand on the land: ³⁰ and hearken their voice against you and cry bitterly and ascend dust on their heads: they wallow themselves in the ashes: ³¹ and in balding, they balden themselves for you, and gird themselves with saq; and they weep for you with bitterness of soul and bitter chopping: ³² and in their lamentation they lift a lamentation for you and lament over you, What is as Sor - as the severed midst the sea? ³³ In your markets going from the seas, you satisfied many people; you enriched the sovereigns of the earth with the abundance of your wealth and of your merchandise. ³⁴ In the time you are broken by the seas in the depths of the waters your merchandise and all your congregation fall in your midst. ³⁵ All the settlers of the islands astonish at you and their sovereigns shudder with horror - irritated in their face: ³⁶ the merchants among the people hiss at you; you become terrors, and are not eternal.

⁹ and they sing a new ode, wording, You are worthy to take the scroll and to open the seals thereof: because you were slaughtered and marketed us to Elohim by your blood from every scion and tongue and people and goyim;

MERCHANTS WEEP OVER THE FALL OF BABEL
And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her; because no one markets her wares never more ¹² - the wares of gold and silver and precious stones and of pearls and white linen and purple and silk and scarlet and all incense timber and all vessels of elephantine and all vessels of most precious timber and of copper and iron and marble ¹³ and cinnamon and incense and myrrh and frankincense and wine and olive oil and fine flour and grain and animals and sheep and horses and chariots and bodies and souls of humanity. ¹⁴ And the evening hour of the panting of your soul is gone from you; and all the greasy and radiant are gone from you; and you no way find them never more. ¹⁵ Her merchants of these, whom she enriched, stand from afar for the awe of her torture - weeping and mourning ¹⁶ and wording, Woe! Woe! - that megalopolis arrayed in white linen and purple and scarlet and gilded in gold and precious stones and pearls! ¹⁷ Because in one hour so vast riches are desolated.
PILOTS, PASSENGERS, AND SAILERS CRY OVER THE FALL OF BABEL
And every pilot and all the homogeneous crowd in sailers and ship crew and as many as work by sea stand from afar; ¹⁸ and seeing the smoke of her firing, they cry, wording, What is like to this megalopolis! ¹⁹ And they cast dust on their heads and cry, weeping and mourning, wording, Woe! Woe that megalopolis, wherein all who had sailers in the sea enriched from her preciousnesses! Because in one hour she desolated. ²⁰ Rejoice over her, O the heavens and you holy apostles and prophets; because Elohim judges your judgment of her. ²¹ And one mighty angel takes a stone as a mega millstone and casts it into the sea, wording, Thus with violence is that megalopolis Babel cast; and are never ever no way still found in you:
