²¹ and Yah Veh sends an angel who cuts off all the mighty of valour and the eminent and governors in the camp of the sovereign of Ashshur: and he returns with shamed face to his own land. And he comes to the house of his elohim; and the offspring of his inwards fell him there with the sword:

¹² And so be it, when Adonay clips his whole work on mount Siyon and on Yeru Shalem, I visit upon the fruit of the greatness of heart of the sovereign of Ashshur and the adornment of his haughty eyes.

¹⁶ So Adonay - Adonay Sabaoth sends emaciation among his fatness; and under his honor he burns a burning as the burning of a fire: ¹⁷ and the light of Yisra El is for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and in one day it burns and consumes his thorns and his briers; ¹⁸ and finishes off the honor of his forest and of his orchard/Karmel - both soul and flesh: to become as when an ensignbearer melts: ¹⁹ and the survivors of the trees of his forest become a number, that even a lad can inscribe them.

³³ Behold, Adonay Yah Veh Sabaoth lops the foliage with violence: and cuts the high ones of height and abases the lofty: ³⁴ and he strikes the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon falls by the mighty.

²⁵ that I break the Ashshuri in my land, and trample him upon my mountains: and turn aside his yoke from off them and turn aside his burden from off their shoulders.

⁵ And the multitude of your strangers pulverize, and the multitude of the tyrants pass away as chaff: yes, it becomes in a blink - suddenly:

²⁷ Behold, the name of Yah Veh comes from far burning with his wrath; and the burden is heavy: his lips fill with rage: and his tongue, as a consuming fire ²⁸ and his spirit, as an overflowing wadi halve the neck, to sift the goyim with the sieve of vanity: and a bridle in the jaws of the people to stray them. ²⁹ You are as a song in the night when a holy celebration is hallowed; and cheerfulness of heart as when one goes with a pipe to come into the mountain of Yah Veh, to the Rock of Yisra El. ³⁰ And Yah Veh has his voice of majesty to be heard; and the resting of his arm to be seen with the rage of his wrath and the flame of a consuming fire - scattering and flood and hailstones. ³¹ For through the voice of Yah Veh the Ashshuri are beaten down - he smites with a scion. ³² And in every passage the founded rod passes, which Yah Veh rests upon him - with tambourines and harps: and in wars of waving, he fights with it. ³³ For Topheth lined up since yesterday; yes, prepared for the sovereign; he deepens and enlarges: the fuel pile is fire and abounding timber; the breath of Yah Veh, as a wadi of sulphur, burns it.

⁷ Behold, I give a spirit on him, and he hears a report, and returns to his own land; and I fell him by the sword in his own land.
