⁶ So the oath devours the earth, and the settlers therein guilt: so the settlers of the earth scorch and few men survive:

²² and I send live beings of the field among you to bereave you and cut your animals and diminish you and desolate your ways.

²⁷ and Yah Veh scatter you among the nations and you be few men in number of the people who survive, where Yah Veh drives you.

THE CURSINGS OF DISOBEDIENCE And so be it, if you hearken not to the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim - to guard to work all his misvoth and his statutes which I misvah you this day, that all these abasements come on you and overtake you: ¹⁶ you, cursed in the city and you, cursed in the field: ¹⁷ cursed, your basket and your doughboard. ¹⁸ cursed, the fruit of your belly and the fruit of your soil; the fetus of your yoke and the riches of your flocks: ¹⁹ cursed in your coming and cursed in your going. ²⁰ Yah Veh sends on you cursing, confusion and rebuke, in all you spread your hand to work, until you become desolated and until you suddenly destruct at the face of the evil of your exploits whereby you forsake me.

⁶² and you survive, few men in number, whereas you were as the stars of the heavens for abundance; all because you hear not the voice of Yah Veh your Elohim.

²² so that the latter generation of your sons who rise after you and the stranger who comes from a far land, say, - when they see the strokes of that land and the sicknesses Yah Veh strokes thereon ²³ - and the whole land thereof of sulphur and salt and burning - neither seeded nor sprouting nor any herbage ascending therein - as the overthrow of Sedom and Amorah, Admah and Seboim whom Yah Veh overturned in his wrath and in his fury ²⁴ - even all goyim say, Why works Yah Veh thus to this land? - this great fuming wrath? ²⁵ Then men say, Because they forsake the covenant of Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers, which he cut with them when he brought them from the land of Misrayim: ²⁶ and they go and serve other elohim and prostrate to them - elohim they never knew and whom he never allotted to them: ²⁷ and Yah Veh kindles his wrath against this land to bring thereon all the abasements inscribed in this scroll: ²⁸ and Yah Veh uproots them from their soil in wrath - in wrath and in great rage and casts them to another land, as this day.

¹⁸ I tell you this day, that in destructing, you destruct; and that you not prolong your days on the soil you pass over Yarden to go to possess. ¹⁹ I call the heavens and earth to witness this day against you, that I give at your face life and death, blessing and abasement: choose life, so that both you and your seed live:

¹⁵ So be it, as all good words come on you, which Yah Veh your Elohim words you; thus Yah Veh brings on you all evil words, until he desolates you from off this good soil which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you; ¹⁶ in trespassing the covenant of Yah Veh your Elohim which he misvahed you; and go and serve other elohim and bow yourselves to them; then Yah Veh kindles his wrath against you and you destruct quickly from off the good land he has given to you.

³¹ and the powerful become as tuft and his deeds as a spark; and they both burn together, and no one quenches.

²⁴ Who gave Yaaqov for a plunder? And Yisra El to the plunderers? Is it not Yah Veh, against whom we sinned? Yes, they will neither to walk in his ways, nor hearken to his torah. ²⁵ So he pours on him the fury of his wrath and the strength of war: and it inflames him on fire round about, yet he knows it not; and it burns him, yet he sets it not to heart.

³ and take a few in number and bind them in your wings:

³ And he says to me, This is the oath going over the face of the whole earth: for every one who steals is exonerated as on this side, thus; and every one who oaths is exonerated as on that side, thus. ⁴ I bring it forth - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth and it enters into the house of the thief and into his house who oaths falsely by my name: and it stays overnight midst his house and finishs it off with the timber and the stones. THE EPHAH

² If you hear not and if you set not to heart to give honor to my name, says Yah Veh Sabaoth, I send a curse on you and I curse your blessings: yes, I also curse, because you set it not to heart.

⁹ You are cursed with a curse: for you defraud me - this whole goyim.

THE DAY OF YAH VEH
For behold, the day approaches that inflames as an oven; and all the arrogant, yes, and all who work wickedly, become stubble: and the day that approaches burns them, says Yah Veh Sabaoth, that it leaves them neither root nor branch.

⁶ and he turns the heart of the fathers to the sons and the heart of the sons to their fathers ere I come and smite the earth with a devotement.

¹⁴ because narrow the gate and tribulated the way, leading to life; and few are they who find it.

²⁵ And all the people answer, saying, His blood - on us and on our children.

²⁷ Yesha Yah also cries in behalf of Yisra El, Whenever the number of the sons of Yisra El become as the sand of the sea, only the remnant is saved:

But the day of Yah Veh comes as a thief in the night; in which the heavens pass with a whir and the elements, being causticized, let loose; also the earth and the works therein burn.
