SONS OF YISRA EL DISPUTE OVER LAND
And the sons of Reu Ben and the sons of Gad have mighty mighty many chattel: and when they see the land of Yazer and the land of Gilad, and behold, the place is a place for chattel; ² the sons of Gad and the sons of Reu Ben come and say to Mosheh and to El Azar the priest and to the hierarchs of the witness, saying, ³ Ataroth and Dibon and Yazer and Nimrah and Heshbon and El Aleh and Sebam and Nebo and Beon ⁴ - the country Yah Veh smote at the face of the witness of Yisra El, is a land for chattel; and your servants have chattel: ⁵ they say, If we find charism in your eyes, give this land to your servants for a possession and pass us not over Yarden. ⁶ And Mosheh says to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Reu Ben, Go your brothers to war; and you - you sit here? ⁷ And why discourage you the heart of the sons of Yisra El from passing into the land Yah Veh gives them? ⁸ Thus your fathers worked, when I sent them from Qadesh Barnea to see the land; ⁹ and they ascended to the wadi of Eshcol and saw the land and discouraged the heart of the sons of Yisra El, to not go into the land Yah Veh gave them. ¹⁰ And Yah Veh kindled his wrath that day, and oathed, saying, ¹¹ Surely none of the men who ascended from Misrayim - sons of twenty years and upward ever see the soil I oathed to Abraham, to Yischaq and to Yaaqov; because they fulfill not to follow me: ¹² except Kaleb the son of Yephunneh the Qenaziy and Yah Shua the son of Nun: for they fulfilled to follow Yah Veh. ¹³ And Yah Veh kindled his wrath against Yisra El and he wandered them in the wilderness forty years; until all that generation who worked evil in the eyes of Yah Veh was consumed. ¹⁴ And behold, you rise in the stead of your fathers - an abundance of sinful men, to scrape together yet the fuming wrath of Yah Veh toward Yisra El. ¹⁵ When you turn away from after him, he adds to leave them in the wilderness; and you ruin all this people. ¹⁶ And they come near to him and say, We build flock walls here for our chattel and cities for our toddlers: ¹⁷ but we ourselves go ready equipped at the face of the sons of Yisra El, until we bring them to their place: and our toddlers settle in the fortified cities at the face of them who settle the land: ¹⁸ we return not to our houses until every man of the sons of Yisra El inherits his inheritance: ¹⁹ for we inherit not with them on yonder side Yarden, or beyond; because our inheritance falls to us on this side Yarden toward the rising. ²⁰ And Mosheh says to them, If you work this word, if you go equipped at the face of Yah Veh to war, ²¹ and all of you pass equipped over Yarden at the face of Yah Veh, until he dispossesses his enemies from his face, ²² and subdue the land at the face of Yah Veh: then afterward you return and become innocent at the face of Yah Veh and at the face of Yisra El; and this land becomes your possession at the face of Yah Veh. ²³ And if you work not so, behold, you sin against Yah Veh: and perceive that your sin finds you out. ²⁴ Build cities for your toddlers and walls for your flocks; and work as proceeds from your mouth. ²⁵ And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reu Ben say to Mosheh, saying, Your servants work as my adoni misvahs: ²⁶ our toddlers, our women, our chattel and all our animals, be there in the cities of Gilad: ²⁷ but your servants pass over, every man equipped for hostility, at the face of Yah Veh to war, as my adoni worded. ²⁸ And concerning them Mosheh misvahs El Azar the priest and Yah Shua the son of Nun and the head fathers of the rods of the sons of Yisra El: ²⁹ and Mosheh says to them, If the sons of Gad and the sons of Reu Ben pass over Yarden with you, every man equipped to war, at the face of Yah Veh, and the land subdues at your face; then give them the land of Gilad for a possession: ³⁰ but if they pass not over with you equipped, they possess among you in the land of Kenaan. ³¹ And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reu Ben answer, saying, As Yah Veh worded to your servants, thus we work: ³² we - we pass over equipped at the face of Yah Veh to the land of Kenaan, and the possession of our inheritance on this side Yarden becomes ours. ³³ And Mosheh gives them - the sons of Gad and the sons of Reu Ben and half the scion of Menash Sheh the son of Yoseph, the sovereigndom of Siho sovereign of the Emoriy and the sovereigndom of Og sovereign of Bashan - the land, with the cities thereof in the borders, - the cities of the land all around. ³⁴ And the sons of Gad build Dibon and Ataroth and Aroer ³⁵ and Atroth, Shophan and Yazer and Jogbehah ³⁶ and Beth Nimrah and Beth Ha Ran - fortified cities: and walls for flocks. ³⁷ And the sons of Reu Ben build Heshbon and El Aleh and Qiryathaim ³⁸ and Nebo and Baal Meon - their names being turned around and Sibmah: and calls names to the cities they build by name. ³⁹ And the sons of Machir the son of Menash Sheh goes to Gilad and captures it and dispossesses the Emoriy therein. ⁴⁰ And Mosheh gives Gilad to Machir the son of Menash Sheh; and he settles therein. ⁴¹ And Yair the son of Menash Sheh goes and captures the living areas thereof and calls them Havoth Yair: ⁴² and Nobach goes and captures Qenath and the daughters thereof and calls it Nobach, after his own name.

²⁰ And of Gad he says, Blessed by him who widens is Gad: he tabernacles as a lion and tears the arm - yes, the scalp: ²¹ and his eye is on the first for himself, because there, the allotment of the statute setter is covered; and he comes with the heads of the people: he works the justness of Yah Veh and his judgments with Yisra El.

⁸ - with whom the Reu Beniy and the Gadiy take their inheritance - which Mosheh gave them beyond Yarden from the rising; as Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh gave them;

And after Abi Melech, Tola the son of Puah the son of Dodo a man of Yissachar rises to save Yisra El; and he settles in Shamir in mount Ephrayim; ² and he judges Yisra El twenty-three years: and dies and is entombed in Shamir. ³

And after him Yair a Giladiy rises and judges Yisra El twenty-two years; ⁴ and he has thirty sons who ride on thirty colts; and they have thirty cities in the land of Gilad called Havoth Yair to this day: ⁵ and Yair dies and is entombed in Qamon. ⁶
YISRA EL ABANDONS YAH VEH
And the sons of Yisra El add to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh and serve Baalim and Ashtaroth and the elohim of Aram and the elohim of Sidon and the elohim of Moab and the elohim of the sons of Ammon and the elohim of the Peleshethiy and forsake Yah Veh and serve him not. ⁷ And Yah Veh kindles his wrath against Yisra El; and he sells them into the hands of the Peleshethiy and into the hands of the sons of Ammon: ⁸ and that year they harass and crush the sons of Yisra El eighteen years - all the sons of Yisra El beyond Yarden in the land of the Emoriy in Gilad: ⁹ and the sons of Ammon pass over Yarden to fight against Yah Hudah and against Ben Yamin and against the house of Ephrayim; so that Yisra El is mightily depressed. ¹⁰ And the sons of Yisra El cry to Yah Veh, saying, We sin against you because we forsake our Elohim and serve Baalim. ¹¹ And Yah Veh says to the sons of Yisra El, By the Misrayim and by the Emoriy by the sons of Ammon and by the Peleshethiy

¹⁸ also Malki Ram and Pedah Yah and Shenassar Yeqam Yah, Yah Shama and Nedab Yah. ¹⁹ And the sons of Pedah Yah: Zerub Babel and Shimi. And the sons of Zerub Babel: Meshullam and Hanan Yah and Shelomith their sister: ²⁰ and Hashubah and Ohel and Berech Yah and Hasad Yah, Yushab Hesed - five. ²¹ And the sons of Hanan Yah: Pelat Yah and Yesha Yah the sons of Repha Yah the sons of Arnan the sons of Obad Yah the sons of Shechan Yah. ²² And the sons of Shechan Yah: Shema Yah. And the sons of Shema Yah: Hattush and Yigal and Bariach, and Near Yah and Shaphat - six.

GENEALOGY OF THE SONS OF GAD
And the sons of Gad settle opposite them in the land of Bashan to Salchah: ¹² Yah El the head and Shapham second and Yaanay and Shaphat in Bashan. ¹³ And their brothers of the house of their fathers: Michah El and Meshullam and Sheba and Yoray and Yakan and Zia and Heber - seven. ¹⁴ These are the sons of Abi Hail the son of Huri the son of Yaroach the son of Gilad the son of Michah El the son of Yeshishay the son of Yachdo the son of Buz: ¹⁵ Achiy the son of Abdi El the son of Guni is head of the house of their fathers. ¹⁶ And they settle in Gilad in Bashan and in her daughters and in all the suburbs of Sharon at their exits. ¹⁷ They all are genealogized in the days of Yah Tham sovereign of Yah Hudah and in the days of Yarob Am sovereign of Yisra El. ¹⁸ The sons of Reu Ben and the Gadiy and half the scion of Menash Sheh, sons of valour men able to bear buckler and sword and to arch with bow and taught in war, forty-four thousand seven hundred and sixty go out to the host: ¹⁹ and they work war with the Hagariy - with Yetur and Nephish and Nodab. ²⁰ And they are helped against them and the Hagariy are given into their hand with all who are with them: for they cry to Elohim in the war and intreat him; because they confide in him. ²¹ And they capture their chattel - of their camels fifty thousand and of flocks two hundred and fifty thousand and of he burros two thousand and of souls of humanity a hundred thousand. ²² For many fall pierced because the war is of Elohim: and they settle in their steads until the exile.

²⁶ And Elohim of Yisra El wakens the spirit of Pul sovereign of Ashshur and the spirit of Tilgath Pileser sovereign of Ashshur and he exiles them - even the Reu Beniy and the Gadiy and the half scion of Menash Sheh and brings them to Halach and Habor and Hara and to the river Gozan, to this day.
