¹⁰ and I abound humanity on you - all the house of Yisra El - all thereof to settle the cities and build the parched areas:

⁶ He roots them who come of Yaaqov: Yisra El blossoms and buds and fills the face of the world with produce.

¹⁷ The humble and needy seek water and there is none; and their tongue dries for thirst and I Yah Veh answer them; I Elohim of Yisra El forsake them not. ¹⁸ I open rivers in the barrens and fountains midst the valleys: I set the wilderness a marsh of water and the land of parch springs of water. ¹⁹ In the wilderness I give the cedar - the shittah tree and the myrtle and the oil tree; in the plain I set the fir tree and the oak and the cedar together: ²⁰ that they see and know and set and comprehend together that the hand of Yah Veh worked this and the Holy One of Yisra El created it. ²¹ Approach with your plea, says Yah Veh; bring forth your mights, says the Sovereign of Yaaqov. ²² They bring forth, and tell us what happened: - the former, what they are, to set our heart on them, and know the latter end of them; or have us hear of the coming. ²³ Tell us what comes afterward, so that we know you are elohim: yes, well-please, or vilify, so that we look around and see it together.

¹⁷ Your sons hasten; your demolishers and they who parched you go from you. ¹⁸ Lift up your eyes all round, and see: all these gather and come to you. I live - an oracle of Yah Veh surely you, as an ornament, enrobe them all, and bind them as a bride. ¹⁹ For your parched areas and your desolated and the land of your destruction are even now too restricted by reason of the settlers; and they who swallow you are far removed. ²⁰ Again the sons of your bereavements say in your ears, The place is too tribulated for me: approach me, and I settle down. ²¹ Then you say in your heart, Who birthed me these, seeing I aborted and am sterile - an exile, turned aside? And who nourished these? Behold, I alone survive; These - whence are they? ²² Thus says Adonay Yah Veh, Behold, I lift my hand to the goyim and lift my ensign to the people: and they bring your sons in the bosom and bear your daughters on their shoulders: ²³ and sovereigns become your nurturers and their governesses your sucklers: they prostrate to you with their nostrils toward the earth and lick up the dust of your feet; and you know I - Yah Veh: for they who await me shame not.

³ For Yah Veh sighs over Siyon: he sighs over all her parched areas; and he sets her wilderness as Eden and her plain as the garden of Yah Veh; rejoicing, yes, and cheerfulness are found therein - spread hands and the voice of psalm.

⁹ Break forth in joy! Shout together, you parched areas of Yeru Shalem! For Yah Veh sighs over his people; he redeems Yeru Shalem:

¹² And from you they build the original parched areas: and you raise the foundations of generation and generation; and they call you, The waller of the breach! The restorer of paths to settle!

⁴ And they build the original parched areas; they raise the former desolated areas; and they renovate the parched cities - the desolated areas of generation and generation.

¹⁹ And spread hands proceed from them and the voice of them who ridicule: and I abound them and they diminish not; I honor them, and they are not belittled:

¹⁰ Hear the word of Yah Veh, O you goyim! And tell it in the islands afar off, and say, He who winnows Yisra El gathers him and guards him as a tender to his drove. ¹¹ For Yah Veh redeems Yaaqov - redeems him from the hand stronger than his: ¹² and they come and shout in the height of Siyon; and flow together to the goodness of Yah Veh for crop and for juice and for oil and for the sons of the flock and of the herd: and their soul becomes as a saturated garden; and they add not to languish. ¹³ Then the virgin cheers in the round dancing - both youths and elders together for I turn their mourning into rejoicing, and sigh over them and cheer them from their grief: ¹⁴ and I satiate the soul of the priests with fatness and satisfy my people with my goodness - an oracle of Yah Veh.

²⁷ Behold, days come, - an oracle of Yah Veh that I seed the house of Yisra El and the house of Yah Hudah with the seed of humanity and with the seed of animal. ²⁸ And so be it, as I watched over them to uproot and to break down and to demolish and to destroy and to vilify, thus I watch over them to build and to plant - an oracle of Yah Veh.

¹² Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth; Again in this place, which is parched dry without humanity and without animal, and in all the cities, a habitation of rest of tenders whose flocks crouch.

³³ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: In the day I purify you from all your perversities I also settle you in the cities, and build the parched areas:

³⁷ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Yet for this I am enquired of by the house of Yisra El to work it for them; I abound them with humanity as a flock

¹⁴ and I restore the captivity of my people of Yisra El: and they build the desolated cities and settle them; and they plant vineyards and drink the wine; and work gardens and eat their fruit:

³ Thus says Yah Veh: I return to Siyon, and tabernacle midst Yeru Shalem: and call Yeru Shalem, The City of Truth; and the mountain of Yah Veh Sabaoth, The Holy Mountain. ⁴ Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: and eldermen and elderwomen still settle there in the broadways of Yeru Shalem; and every man with his crutch in his hand because of abundance of days: ⁵ and the broadways of the city fill with boys and girls playing in the broadways. ⁶ Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: If it is marvellous in the eyes of the survivors of this people in these days, is it not also marvellous in my eyes? - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth.
