²² And you, work as I work: neither cover your upper lip nor eat the bread of men:

¹⁵ his survivors entomb in death and his widows weep not:

⁶⁴ their priests fell by the sword and their widows wept not.

⁴ they die deaths of sicknesses; - neither chopped after nor entombed; - as dung on the face of the soil: - finished off by the sword and by famine; and their carcases are meat for the flyers of the heavens and for the animals of the earth. ⁵ For thus says Yah Veh, Neither enter the house of a feast of mourning, nor go to chop nor wag over them: for I gather my shalom from this people - an oracle of Yah Veh even mercy and mercies. ⁶ Both the great and the lesser die in this land: neither entombed nor chopped over; neither incise nor balden yourselves for them: ⁷ neither separate yourselves for them in mourning to sigh over them for the dead; nor drink the cup of consolation for their father or for their mother:

³ At the voice of the stamping of the hoofs of his mighty, at the quake of his chariots, and at the roar of his wheels, the fathers face not the sons for slackness of hands;

¹⁶ Son of humanity, behold, I take the desire of your eyes away from you with a plague: yet you neither chop nor weep nor your tears run. ¹⁷ Hush your shrieking; work no mourning for the dead; bind your tiara on you and set your shoes on your feet; and neither cover your upper lip nor eat the bread of men.

⁹ And so be it, if ten men remain in one house, they die: ¹⁰ and his uncle and his cremater lift him to bring the bones from the house, and say to him who is by the flanks of the house, Are there yet any with you? And he says, Final. Then he says, Hush: for we memorialize not the name of Yah Veh.
