THE SOVEREIGNDOM DIVIDED
And all Yisra El sees that the sovereign hearkens not to them, and the people return word to the sovereign, saying, What allotment have we in David? Yes, there is no inheritance in the son of Yishay: to your tents, O Yisra El! Now see to your own house, O David. - and Yisra El goes to their tents. 17 As for the sons of Yisra El who settle in the cities of Yah Hudah, Rechab Am reigns over them: 18 and sovereign Rechab Am sends Adoni Ram who is over the vassal; and all Yisra El stones him with stones, that he dies: and sovereign Rechab Am strengthens himself to ascend to his chariot to flee to Yeru Shalem. 19 and Yisra El rebels against the house of David to this day. 20 And so be it, all Yisra El hears that Yarob Am returns, and they send and call him to the witness and have him reign over all Yisra El: there is no one after the house of David, except only, the scion of Yah Hudah.

1 Kings 14:25-28

25 And so be it, in the fifth year of sovereign Rechab Am, Shishak sovereign of Misrayim ascends against Yeru Shalem: 26 and takes the treasures of the house of Yah Veh and the treasures of the house of the sovereign: he even takes all: and he takes all the bucklers of gold Shelomoh worked: 27 and in their stead sovereign Rechab Am works copper bucklers and oversees the hands of the governor of the runners, who guard the portal of the house of the sovereign: 28 and so be it, the sovereign goes to the house of Yah Veh and the runners bear them and return them to the runners chamber.
