¹ Balances of deceit are an abhorrence to Yah Veh; and a stone of shalom is his pleasure.

¹¹ A just weight and balance are of Yah Veh; all the stones of the pouch are his work.

¹⁰ A stone and a stone; an ephah and an ephah: yes, both are abhorrence to Yah Veh.

¹⁰ Balances of justness, an ephah of justness, a bath of justness: ¹¹ the ephah and the bath being one gauge, so that the bath bears the tithe of a chomer, and the ephah the tenth of a chomer: the quantity being after the chomer.

⁵ saying, When passes the new moon, to market kernels? - the shabbath, to open grain? - to lessen the ephah and greaten the shekel? - to twist the balances by deceit?

¹¹ Purify I them with balances of wickedness? And with the pouch of stones of deceit? ¹² - whose the rich are filled of violence and the settlers speak falsehoods; and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth?
