THE SCRIBING ON THE WALL
In the same blink digits of the hand of a man emerge, and inscribe in front of the menorah on the plaster of the wall of the manse of the sovereign: and the sovereign sees the palm of the hand that inscribes: 6 then the cheerfulness of the sovereign changes and his intentions terrify him - so that the vertebrae of his loins release, and his knees knock one against another.

10 The sovereigness, because of the utterances of the sovereign and his nobles, enters into the banquet house: and the sovereigness answers and says, O sovereign, live eternally: may neither your intentions terrify you, nor your cheerfulness change:
