⁴⁰ And the fourth sovereigndom becomes mighty as iron: because as iron pulverizes and crushes all: and as iron shatters all these, it pulverizes and shatters.

³³ his legs, of iron; his feet, of iron and of clay:

⁷ After this I see in the night visions, and behold, a fourth live being, terrifying and burly, and exceedingly mighty, with great iron teeth: it devours and pulverizes and tramples the survivors with its feet: and it is changed from all the live beings in front of it - with ten horns.

¹⁹ Then I will to know the certainty of the fourth live being, who is changed from all the others - exceeding terrifying, - teeth of iron and his nails of copper; who devours, pulverizes and tramples the survivors with his feet; ²⁰ and of the ten horns in his head, and of the other which ascends, and in front of whom three fall; even of that horn with eyes and a mouth uttering very great; whose vision is greater than his companions. ²¹ I see, and the same horn makes war with the holy; and prevails against them; ²² the Ancient of days comes, and gives the pleading of the cause to the holy of Elyon; and the appointment so happens that the holy hold the sovereigndom. ²³ Thus he says, The fourth live being becomes the fourth sovereigndom on earth which is changed from all kingdoms; and it devours the whole earth, and treads it down, and pulverizes it. ²⁴ And the ten horns from this sovereigndom are ten sovereigns who rise: and another rises after them - changed from the first; and he abases three sovereigns: ²⁵ and he utters utterances concerning the Elyon and wears out the holy of Elyon; and wills to change appointments and decrees: and they are given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. ²⁶ And the pleading is set, and they pass away his dominion, to desolate and to destroy it to the consummation:

²⁴ and his force is mighty - and not by his own force: and he ruins marvelously and prospers and works; and ruins the mighty and the people of the holy one:

²⁶ And after sixty-two weeks Messiah is cut off; but not for himself: and the people of the eminent who comes ruins the city and the holies; and the end is with an overflowing; and to the end of the war desolations are appointed.

³⁶ And the sovereign works according to his pleasure; and exalts himself and greatens himself above every el and words marvels against the El of elohim, and prospers until the rage concludes: until that appointed is worked. ³⁷ He neither discerns the Elohim of his fathers nor the desire of women; nor discerns any elohah: for he greatens himself above all. ³⁸ And in his station he honors the elohah of strongholds - an elohah whom his fathers knew not he honors with gold and silver and with esteemed stones and desires: ³⁹ thus he works in the fortresses of strongholds with a strange elohah - whom he recognizes and abounds with honor: and he has them reign over many and allots the soil for a price. ⁴⁰ And at the time of the end the sovereign of the south butts him: and the sovereign of the north comes and whirls him away with chariots and with cavalry and with many ships; and he comes into the lands and overflows and passes over: ⁴¹ and he enters into the land of splendor and many falter: and these escape from his hand: Edom and Moab and the first of the sons of Ammon: ⁴² and he spreads his hand on the lands: and the land of Misrayim escapes not: ⁴³ and he reigns over the hidden treasures of gold and of silver and over all the desires of Misrayim: with the Lubiym and the Kushiym at his paces. ⁴⁴ And the reports from the rising and from the north terrify him: and he goes with great fury to desolate and to devote many: ⁴⁵ and he plants the tents of his pavilion between the seas in the holy mountain of splendor; and he comes to his end and no one helps him.

³ Thus says Yah Veh: For three rebellions of Dammeseq, and for four, I restore them not; because of threshing Gilad with sickles of iron:

⁴⁸ Whenever we thus allow him, everyone trusts in him: and the Romans come and take both our place and goyim.
