And there being much disputation, Petros rises, and says to them, Men and brothers, you understand how that from ancient days Elohim selected among us, that through my mouth the goyim hear the word of the evangelism, and trust: ⁸ and Elohim, all heart-knowing, bore them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even exactly as to us; ⁹ and distinguished not between us and them, purifying their hearts by trust:
