For in giving, I give the Peleshethiy into your hand. ²⁰ And David comes to Baal Perasim, and David smites them there, and says, Yah Veh breaches my enemies at my face as the breach of waters: so he calls the name of that place Baal Perasim/Baal Breach. ²¹ And there they leave their idols, and David and his men lift them away: ²² and the Peleshethiy add to ascend and to disperse in the valley of Rephaim. ²³ And David asks of Yah Veh, and he says, Ascend not; but go around behind them, and come upon them opposite the weepers: ²⁴ and so be it, when you hear the voice of marching in the tops of the weepers, then you point: for then Yah Veh goes at your face, to smite the camp of the Peleshethiy. ²⁵ And thus David works as Yah Veh misvahs him; and smites the Peleshethiy from Geba until you come to Gezer.

⁵ and in the fourteenth year Kedorlaomer and the sovereigns with him come and smite the Rephaim in Ashteroth Qarnaim and the Zuziym in Ham and the Emim in Shaveh Qiryathayim

¹⁸ And Malki Sedeq sovereign of Shalem brings bread and wine; and he is priest of El Elyon:

DEATH OF ABRAHAM

¹⁴ And Laban says to him, Surely you are my bone and my flesh. - and he settles with him a month of days.

⁵ But work thus with them; pull down their sacrifice altars and break down their monoliths and cut down their asherim and burn their sculptiles with fire.

²⁵ Burn the sculptiles of their elohim with fire: neither desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it to you, lest you be snared therein: for it is an abhorrence to Yah Veh your Elohim.

¹⁵ And Yah Shua says to them, If you are a great people, ascend to the forest and cut down for yourself there in the land of the Perizziy and of the Rephaim - if mount Ephrayim is too pressed for you.

YAH HUDAH CAPTURES YERU SHALEM
And the sons of Yah Hudah fight against Yeru Shalem and capture it; and smite it with the mouth of the sword and send the city on fire:

²¹ and the sons of Ben Yamin dispossess not the Yebusiy who settle Yeru Shalem; but the Yebusiy settle with the sons of Ben Yamin in Yeru Shalem to this day.

¹⁴ And Deborah says to Baraq, Rise! For this is the day Yah Veh gives Sisera into your hand: Goes not Yah Veh at your face? - and Baraq descends from mount Tabor with ten thousand men after him.

And Yah Veh says to Shemu El, How long mourn you for Shaul, seeing I refuse him to reign over Yisra El? Fill your horn with oil and go! I send you to Yishay the Beth Lechemiy: for I see a sovereign among his sons.

And he sends and brings him in: and he is ruddy and of beautiful eyes and goodly to see. And Yah Veh says, Rise! Anoint him! For this is he. ¹³ Then Shemu El takes the horn of oil, and anoints him midst his brothers: and the Spirit of Yah Veh prospers on David from that day onward. - and Shemu El rises and goes to Ramah.

⁴ And David adds again to ask Yah Veh: and Yah Veh answers him and says, Rise! Descend to Qeilah! For I give the Peleshethiy into your hand.

¹⁸ And the two cut a covenant at the face of Yah Veh: and David settles in the forest and Yah Nathan goes to his house.

²⁸ I beseech you, lift the rebellion of your maid: for in working, Yah Veh works an amenable house for my adoni; because my adoni fights the wars of Yah Veh and no evil is found in you all your days:

³⁰ And so be it, when Yah Veh works to my adoni according to all the good he worded concerning you and misvahs you eminent over Yisra El;

⁶ And Shaul asks of Yah Veh, and Yah Veh answers him not - neither by dreams nor by Urim nor by prophets.

⁷ and David says to Abi Athar the priest the son of Achiy Melech, I beseech you, bring near the ephod. - and Abi Athar brings near the ephod to David. ⁸ And David asks at Yah Veh, saying, Pursue I after this troop? Overtake them? And he says to him, Pursue! In overtaking, overtake! And in rescuing, rescue!

DAVID ANOINTED SOVEREIGN
And so be it, after this, David asks of Yah Veh, saying, Ascend I into one of the cities of Yah Hudah? And Yah Veh says to him, Ascend. And David says, Whither ascend I? And he says, To Hebron.

⁴ and the men of Yah Hudah come and there they anoint David sovereign over the house of Yah Hudah. And they tell David, saying, The men of Yabesh Gilad entombed Shaul.

¹¹ And the number of days David is sovereign in Hebron over the house of Yah Hudah is seven years and six months.

THE HOUSE OF DAVID STRENGTHENS
And the war is long between the house of Shaul and between the house of David: and David walks on strengthened and the house of Saul walks on poor.

²¹ And Abi Ner says to David, I rise and go, and gather all Yisra El to my adoni the sovereign to cut a covenant with you to reign over all your soul desires. - and David sends Abi Ner away; and he goes in shalom.

⁷ And David captures the stronghold of Siyon the city of David:

¹² And they tell sovereign David, saying, Yah Veh blesses the house of Obed Edom and all he has because of the ark of Elohim. - and David goes and ascends the ark of Elohim from the house of Obed Edom to the city of David with cheerfulness.

¹⁶ And as the ark of Yah Veh comes to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Shaul looks through a window and sees sovereign David leaping and twirling at the face of Yah Veh: and she despises him in her heart.

² And the sovereign says to Nathan the prophet, See, I pray you, I settle in a house of cedar, but the ark of Elohim settles within curtains.

⁷ In all wherein I walked with all the sons of Yisra El worded I a word with one of the scions of Yisra El, whom I misvahed to tend my people Yisra El, saying, Why not build me a house of cedar?

¹⁶ and your house and your sovereigndom are permanent - eternally at your face: your throne is established eternally.

NATHAN REBUKES DAVID
And Yah Veh sends Nathan to David: and he comes to him and says to him, Two men are in one city - the one rich and the one impoverished: ² the rich has mighty abundant flocks and oxen; ³ but the impoverished has naught - except one little ewe lamb which he chatteled and livened: and it grows together with him and with his sons: it eats of his own morsel and drinks of his own cup and lies down in his bosom as his daughter. ⁴ And a wayfarer comes to the rich man; and he spares to take of his own flock and of his own oxen, to work for the caravan that comes to him: but takes the ewe lamb of the impoverished man and works it for the man who comes to him. ⁵ And David kindles his wrath mightily against the man; and he says to Nathan, Yah Veh lives! The man who works this is a son of death: ⁶ and have him shalam fourfold for the ewe lamb because he works this word, and finally, has no compassion. ⁷ And Nathan says to David, You are the man! Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El, I anointed you sovereign over Yisra El and I rescued you from the hand of Shaul;

THE BIRTH OF SHELOMOH
And David sighs over Bath Sheba his woman and goes in to her and lies down with her; and she births a son and he calls his name Shelomoh: and Yah Veh loves him: ²⁵ and he sends by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he calls his name Yedid Yah, because of Yah Veh.

¹³ And say to Amasa, Are you not of my bone and of my flesh? Elohim work thus to me and add also if you become not governor of the host at my face all days under Yah Ab.

¹³ And three of the thirty heads descended and came to David in the harvest time to the cave of Adullam: and the living of the Peleshethiy encamped in the valley of Rephaim: ¹⁴ and David was then in a hold and the standing camp of the Peleshethiy was then Beth Lechem.

¹⁰ So David lies down with his fathers entombed in the city of David: ¹¹ and the days David reigns over Yisra El are forty years: he reigns seven years in Hebron and reigns thirty-three years in Yeru Shalem:

And Shelomoh intermarries with Paroh sovereign of Misrayim; and takes the daughter of Paroh and brings her into the city of David until he finishes building his own house and the house of Yah Veh and the wall of Yeru Shalem all around:

THE ALLIANCE OF SHELOMOH WITH SOVEREIGN HIRAM
And Hiram sovereign of Sor sends his servants to Shelomoh; for he hears they anointed him sovereign in the stead of his father - for Hiram was all days a lover of David. ² And Shelomoh sends to Hiram, saying,

⁸ And Hiram sends to Shelomoh, saying, I heard what you sent me: I work all your delight concerning timber of cedar and concerning timber of cypress: ⁹ my servants descend them from Lebanon to the sea: and I set them by sea in rafts to the place you send me and scatter them there; and you lift them and work my delight by giving bread for my household. ¹⁰ And Hiram gives Shelomoh cedar trees and cypress trees according to all his delight:

And for thirteen years, Shelomoh builds his own house; and he finishes all his house: ² and he builds the house of the forest of Lebanon, a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high; on four rows of cedar pillars with cedar beams on the pillars; ³ and ciels it with cedar above on the ribs - on forty five pillars, fifteen in a row: ⁴ with lookouts in three rows; and window against window in three steps: ⁵ and all the portals and posts square with the lookouts: with window against window in three steps. ⁶ And he works a porch of pillars, fifty cubits long and thirty cubits wide: with the porch at their face; and the pillars and the thick beam at their face. ⁷ And he works a porch for the throne for judging - the porch of judgment; and ciels it with cedar from floor to floor. ⁸ And his house where he settles has another court to house the porch - of like work. And Shelomoh works a house like this porch for the daughter of Paroh he had taken. ⁹ All these of precious stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws inside and outside the house - even from the foundation to the support and so on the outside toward the great court. ¹⁰ And the foundation is of precious stones - even great stones - stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits: ¹¹ and above are precious stones after the measures of hewed stones and cedars: ¹² and the great court all around, three rows of hewed stones and a row of cedar beams - both for the inner court of the house of Yah Veh and for the porch of the house.

THE ARK IN THE HOUSE OF YAH VEH
Then Shelomoh congregates the elders of Yisra El and all the heads of the rods - the hierarchs of the fathers of the sons of Yisra El to sovereign Shelomoh in Yeru Shalem - to ascend the ark of the covenant of Yah Veh from the city of David - Siyon:

¹⁵ and this is the word of the vassal sovereign Shelomoh lifts to build the house of Yah Veh and his own house and Millo and the wall of Yeru Shalem and Hasor and Megiddo and Gezer.

²⁴ Only, the daughter of Paroh ascends from the city of David to the house he built for her: then he builds Millo.

⁹ Blessed - Yah Veh your Elohim who delights in you to give you on the throne of Yisra El: because Yah Veh loves Yisra El eternally he set you sovereign to work judgment and justness.

And he says to him, Ascend and prosper: for Yah Veh gives it into the hand of the sovereign. ¹⁶ And the sovereign says to him, How many times oath I you that you word me naught but truth in the name of Yah Veh? ¹⁷ And he says, I see all Yisra El scattered on the mountains as flocks with no tender: and Yah Veh says, These have no adoni: return them - every man to his house in shalom. ¹⁸ And the sovereign of Yisra El says to Yah Shaphat, Said I not to you that he prophesies no good concerning me - but evil? ¹⁹ And he says, Therefore hear the word of Yah Veh: I see Yah Veh settled on his throne and all the host of the heavens stand by him at his right and at his left. ²⁰ And Yah Veh says, Who entices Ach Ab to ascend and fall at Ramoth Gilad? ³⁰ As for me, this mystery is not exposed to me for wisdom that I have in me any more than for any one living, but for words to make the interpretation known to the sovereign, so that you know the intentions of your heart.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these sovereigns Elah of the heavens raises a sovereigndom, which despoils not eternally: and the sovereigndom is not left to other people, it pulverizes and consumes all these sovereigndoms and it is raised eternally. ⁴⁵ Because, as you saw, the stone cut from the rock, not by hands, and it pulverizes the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great Elah makes known to the sovereign what becomes after this: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation trustworthy.
