¹⁷ and a watcher stands on the tower in Yizre El; and he sees the throng of Yah Hu as he comes; and says, I see a throng. And Yah Ram says, Take a charioteer and send to meet them; and say, Shalom?

⁴ And Shemu El works what Yah Veh words and comes to Beth Lechem: and the elders of the city tremble to meet him and say, Come you in shalom?

²² And David leaves his instrument in the hand of the guard of the instrument; and runs into the ranks and comes and asks his brothers of shalom:

³⁴ And Abi Shalom flees: and the lad who watches lifts his eyes and sees; and behold, much people come by the way of the mountain side behind him.

²⁴ and David settles between the two portals: and the watcher goes up to the roof over the portal to the wall and lifts his eyes and sees; and behold, a man running alone:

¹⁵ And he says, You know that the sovereigndom is mine and that all Yisra El set their faces on me to reign: howbeit the sovereigndom turns around and becomes to my brother - for it is his from Yah Veh.

¹⁴ And they take two chariot horses; and the sovereign sends after the camp of the Aramiy, saying, Go! See!

¹⁹ and he sends out a second riding on a horse who comes to them and says, Thus says the sovereign, Shalom? And Yah Hu says, What have you to do with shalom? Turn behind me.

⁶ For Adonay says thus to me, Go, stand a watcher; to tell what he sees. ⁷ And he sees a chariot with a pair of cavalry, a chariot of burros, a chariot of camels; and in hearkening, he hearkens: ⁸ and he calls out, A lion! Adonay, I stand continually on the watchtower in the day and I station in my guard whole nights: ⁹ and, behold, a chariot of men comes with a pair of cavalry: and he answers and says, Fallen! Babel - fallen! and he breaks all the sculptiles of her elohim to the earth.

THE BURDEN OF DUMAH
The burden of Dumah: A call to me from Seir, Guard, what of the night? Guard, what of the night? ¹² The guard says, The morning comes and also the night: if you enquire - enquire: return, come.

¹⁰ His watchers are blind; they know not: they are all mute dogs; they cannot bark: dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.

⁶ I guard to oversee on your walls, O Yeru Shalem, which hush not continually day and night: you who remember Yah Veh, quiet not;

² Son of humanity, word to the sons of your people, and say to them, When I bring the sword on a land, if the people of the land take one man from their edges, and give him for their watcher: ³ and he sees the sword approach the land, he blasts the shophar and enlightens the people: ⁴ and in hearing, one hears the voice of the shophar, and takes not warning; and the sword approaches and takes him away, his blood is on his own head: ⁵ for he hears the voice of the shophar, and takes not warning; his blood is on himself: and he who takes warning, rescues his soul. ⁶ And if the watcher sees the sword approach, and neither blasts the shophar nor warns the people; if the sword approaches and takes a soul from among them, he is taken away in his perversity; and I require his blood at the hand of the watcher. ⁷ Thus you, O son of humanity, I give you as a watcher to the house of Yisra El: so hear the word at my mouth and enlighten them from me; ⁸ saying to the wicked, O wicked, in dying, you die if you word not to enlighten the wicked from his way: that wicked dies in his perversity and I seek his blood at your hand. ⁹ And you, if you enlighten the wicked to turn from his way and he turns not from his way, he dies in his perversity and you rescue your soul.

⁵ and whatever house you enter, first word, Shalom to this house! ⁶ And indeed whenever the son of shalom is there, your shalom reposes thereon: but if not, it returns to you:

²⁶ So I witness to you in this day, that I am pure from the blood of all: ²⁷ for I withhold naught to evangelize the whole counsel of Elohim to you. ²⁸ So heed to yourselves and to all the shepherddom, over which the Holy Spirit placed you episcopates - to shepherd the ecclesia of Elohim which he acquired through his own blood. ²⁹ For I know this, that after my departing, burdenous wolves enter to you, not sparing the shepherddom. ³⁰ And of your own selves, men rise, speaking thorough perversions, to draw disciples after them. ³¹ So watch, and remember, that for three years I paused not to remind each one night and day with tears.
