¹⁵ And Yah Veh kindles his wrath against Amaz Yah and he sends him a prophet, who says to him, Why seek you after the elohim of the people, who rescued not their own people from your hand?

² and you, cut no covenant with the settlers of this land; pull down their sacrifice altars - and you hearken not to my voice: Why work you this?

NATHAN REBUKES DAVID
And Yah Veh sends Nathan to David: and he comes to him and says to him, Two men are in one city - the one rich and the one impoverished: ² the rich has mighty abundant flocks and oxen; ³ but the impoverished has naught - except one little ewe lamb which he chatteled and livened: and it grows together with him and with his sons: it eats of his own morsel and drinks of his own cup and lies down in his bosom as his daughter. ⁴ And a wayfarer comes to the rich man; and he spares to take of his own flock and of his own oxen, to work for the caravan that comes to him: but takes the ewe lamb of the impoverished man and works it for the man who comes to him. ⁵ And David kindles his wrath mightily against the man; and he says to Nathan, Yah Veh lives! The man who works this is a son of death: ⁶ and have him shalam fourfold for the ewe lamb because he works this word, and finally, has no compassion.

⁷ And at that time, Hanani the seer comes to Asa sovereign of Yah Hudah and says to him, Because you lean on the sovereign of Aram and lean not on Yah Veh your Elohim, so the valiant of the sovereign of Aram escapes from your hand. ⁸ Were not the Kushiy and the Lubiy an abundance of valiant, with a mighty abundance of chariots and cavalry? Yet, because you leaned on Yah Veh he gave them into your hand. ⁹ As for Yah Veh, - his eyes flit throughout the whole earth, strengthened in behalf of them whose heart is at shalom toward him. Herein you folly: from this time on you have wars.

² and Yah Hu the son of Hanani the seer goes out to face him; and says to sovereign Yah Shaphat, Help you the wicked and love them who hate Yah Veh? This rage be on you from the face of Yah Veh.

³⁷ And Eli Ezer the son of Doda Yah of Mareshah prophesies against Yah Shaphat, saying, Because you join yourself with Achaz Yah Yah Veh breaches your works. And the ships break up, so that they retain not to go to Tarshish.

²⁰ And the Spirit of Elohim enrobes Zechar Yah the son of Yah Yada the priest - who stands above the people and says to them, Thus says Elohim, Why trespass you the misvoth of Yah Veh, and prosper not? Because you forsake Yah Veh, he forsakes you.

⁷ And a man of Elohim comes to him, saying, O sovereign, the host of Yisra El goes not with you; for Yah Veh is not with Yisra El - with all the sons of Ephrayim;

¹¹ And Amaz Yah strengthens himself and drives his people and goes to Gay Melach/Valley of Salt and smites ten thousand of the sons of Seir: ¹² and the sons of Yah Hudah capture ten thousand alive; and bring them to the top of the rock and cast them from the top of the rock; and they all split.

⁵ For all the elohim of the people are idols; and Yah Veh worked the heavens:

⁴ Their idols are silver and gold the work of human hands: ⁵ mouths have they, but they word not; eyes have they, but they see not; ⁶ ears have they, but they hear not; nostrils have they, but they scent not; ⁷ hands have they, but they touch not; feet have they, but they walk not; they mutter not through their throat. ⁸ They who work them are like them; thus is every one who confides in them.

⁹ They who form a sculptile all of them are a waste; and their desires benefit not: and they are their own witnesses; they neither see, nor know to shame. ¹⁰ Who ever formed an el or poured a sculptile that is not beneficial?

THE IDOLS OF BABEL
Bel kneels; Nebo stoops; their idols are for the live beings and for the animals: your loads are heavily loaded - a burden to the languid. ² They stoop; they kneel together; they cannot rescue the burden; and their souls go into captivity.

⁵ thus says Yah Veh, What wickedness found your fathers in me, that they removed afar from me and walked after vanity and became vain?

⁷ Who awes you not, O Sovereign of goyim? For it becomes you: for among all the wise of the goyim, and in all their sovereigndoms, there is no one like you.

⁴ So, concerning the eating of idol sacrifices, we know that an idol is naught in the cosmos and that there is no other Elohim except one.

²⁰ But those that the goyim sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to Elohim: and I will that you not become communicants with demons.
