1 Thessalonians 5:20 Cross References - ECB

20 nor belittle prophesyings:

Numbers 11:25-29

25 And Yah Veh descends in a cloud and words to him and sets aside of the spirit on him and gives it to the seventy men - elders: and so be it, when the spirit rests on them, they prophesy, but never again. 26 And two of the men in the camp survive - the name of the one, El Dad and the name of the second, Medad: and the spirit rests on them; and they were of those inscribed, who went not to the tent: and they prophesy in the camp. 27 And a lad runs and tells Mosheh and says, El Dad and Medad prophesy in the camp. 28 And Yah Shua the son of Nun, the youth minister of Mosheh, answers and says, My adoni Mosheh, restrain them. 29 And Mosheh says to him, Envy you for my sake? O to give that all the people of Yah Veh be prophets and that Yah Veh give his spirit on them!

1 Samuel 10:5-6

5 after that, come to the hill of Elohim where the station of the Peleshethiy is: and so be it, when you come to the city, you meet a line of prophets descending from the bamah with a bagpipe and a tambourine and a flute and a harp at their face; and they prophesy: 6 and the Spirit of Yah Veh prospers on you and you prophesy with them and turn into another man.

1 Samuel 10:10-13

10 And they come to Gibah, and behold, a line of prophets meet him; and the Spirit of Elohim prospers on him and he prophesies among them. 11 And so be it, all who knew him three yesters ago, see; and behold, he prophesies among the prophets, and the people say, man to friend, What is this that becomes to the son of Qish? Is Shaul also among the prophets? 12 And a man of the same place answers and says, And who is their father? So, so be it, a proverb, Is Shaul also among the prophets? 13 And he finishes prophesying, and he comes to the bamah.

1 Samuel 19:20-24

20 And Shaul sends angels to take David: and they see the assembly of the prophets prophesying and Shemu El stands stationed over them, the Spirit of Elohim is on the angels of Shaul and they also prophesy. 21 And someone tells Shaul and he sends other angels and they also prophesy: and Shaul sends angels the third time and they also prophesy. 22 Then he goes to Ramah and comes to a great well in Sechu: and he asks and says, Where are Shemu El and David? And one says, Behold, at Navith in Ramah. 23 And he goes to Navith in Ramah: and the Spirit of Elohim is on him - him also and in walking, he walks on and prophesies until he comes to Navith in Ramah: 24 and he strips his clothes - he also and prophesies at the face of Shemu El and falls naked all that day and all that night. So they say, Is Shaul also among the prophets?

1 Corinthians 12:10

10 to another the energizings of dynamis; to another prophecy; to another discernments of spirits; to another genos of tongues; to another the translation of tongues.

THE CHARISMATA IN THE ECCLESIA
And indeed Elohim set some in the ecclesia: first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors, then dynamis, then charismata of healings, supports, pilots, genos of tongues.

1 Corinthians 13:2

2 And whenever I have prophecy and perceive all mysteries and all knowledge, and whenever I have all trust to remove mountains and have not love, I am naught.

1 Corinthians 14:1

1
PROPHECY, TONGUES, AND TRANSLATION
Pursue love and be zealous for spirituals - but rather to prophesy.

1 Corinthians 14:3-6

3 And whoever prophesies to humanity speaks to edification and beseeching and consolation: 4 whoever speaks in a tongue edifies himself; and whoever prophesies edifies the ecclesia. 5 I will that you all speak with tongues but rather that you prophesy: for whoever prophesies is greater than whoever speaks with tongues, - unless he translates to edify the ecclesia. 6 And now brothers, whenever I come to you speaking with tongues, what benefit I you - unless I speak to you either in apocalypse or in knowledge? Or in prophesying or in doctrine?

1 Corinthians 14:22-25

22 So tongues are not a sign to the trusting but to the trustless: and prophesying is not for the trustless but for the trusting. 23 So whenever the whole ecclesia comes together to one place and all speak with tongues - and an unlearned or a trustless enter, say they not that you rave? 24 And whenever all prophesy and a trustless or an unlearned enters, he is reproved by all; he is judged by all: 25 And thus the secrets of his heart become manifest; and thus falling on his face he worships Elohim and evangelizes that Elohim is in you indeed.

1 Corinthians 14:29-32

29
RULES FOR PROPHETS AND DISCERNERS
Have the prophets speak two or three, and the others discern: 30 and whenever aught is unveiled to another sitting by, have the first hush. 31 For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all learn and all be consoled. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subjugate to the prophets.

1 Corinthians 14:37-39

37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, have him acknowledge that those I scribe to you are the misvoth of Adonay. 38 And if anyone is unknowing, have him be unknowing. 39 So, brothers, be zealous to prophesy and forbid not to speak with tongues.

And indeed, he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and doctors; 12 for the perfecting of the holy - to the work of the ministry - to the edifying of the body of the Messiah:

Revelation 11:3-11

3
THE TWO WITNESSES
And I give to my two witnesses to prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, arrayed in saq. 4 These are the two olives and the two menorah standing in sight of the Elohim of the earth. Zechariah 4:2-6, 11-14 5 And if anyone wills to injure them, fire proceeds from their mouth and consumes their enemies: and if anyone wills to injure them, thus must they be slaughtered. cp 11:13 6 These have authority to shut the heavens, so that the rain rains not in the days of their prophecy: and they have authority over waters to turn them to blood and to smite the earth with all plagues as often as ever they will. 7 And when they complete/shalam their witness, the beast ascends from the abyss makes war with them and triumphs over them and slaughters them: 8 and their carcasses are on the broadway of the megalopolis, which spiritually is called, Sedom and Misrayim - where also our Adonay was staked. 9 And they of the people and scions and tongues and goyim see their carcasses three and a half days and allow not to put their carcasses in tombs. 10 And they who settle on the earth cheer over them and rejoice; and send honorariums to one another; because these two prophets tortured them who settle on the earth. 11 And after three and a half days the spirit of life of Elohim enters into them and they stand on their feet; and mega awe falls on them who observe them.
