²⁸ I beseech you, lift the rebellion of your maid: for in working, Yah Veh works an amenable house for my adoni; because my adoni fights the wars of Yah Veh and no evil is found in you all your days:

¹¹ - as from the day I misvahed judges to be over my people Yisra El and rested you from all your enemies: and Yah Veh tells you that he works you a house. ¹² And when your days fulfill and you lie down with your fathers, I raise your seed after you who come from your inwards; and I establish his sovereigndom: ¹³ he builds a house for my name and I establish the throne of his sovereigndom eternally.

²⁷ For you, O Yah Veh Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El, exposed in the ear of your servant, saying, I build you a house: therefore your servant finds in his heart to pray this prayer to you.

²⁹ And the sovereign oaths and says, Yah Veh lives - who redeemed my soul from all tribulation:

⁵² And Shelomoh says, If he shows himself a son of valour, not a hair of his falls to the earth: but if evil is found in him, he dies.

⁶ And Shelomoh says, You worked great mercy to your servant David my father according as he walked at your face in truth and in justness and in straightness of heart with you: and you guarded this great mercy for him in that you gave him a son to settle on his throne as this day: ⁷ and now, O Yah Veh my Elohim, you have your servant reign in the stead of David my father: and I am a little lad: I know not to go out or come in:

⁹ Blessed - Yah Veh your Elohim who delights in you to give you on the throne of Yisra El: because Yah Veh loves Yisra El eternally he set you sovereign to work judgment and justness.

¹⁰ yes, even since the days I misvahed judges over my people Yisra El: and I subdue all your enemies: and I tell you, Yah Veh builds you a house.

¹⁷ And this is little in your eyes, O Elohim; for you word of the house of your servant from afar and see me in the manner of a human of high degree, O Yah Veh Elohim.

²³ And now, O Yah Veh, may the word you word concerning your servant and concerning his house be amened eternally; and work as you word:

¹⁰ he builds a house for my name; and he becomes to me, son and I become to him, father; and I establish the throne of his sovereigndom over Yisra El eternally.

²³ And Shelomoh settles on the throne of Yah Veh as sovereign in the stead of David his father and prospers: and all Yisra El hearkens to him;

⁸ And Shelomoh says to Elohim, You worked great mercy to David my father and have me to reign in his stead: ⁹ now, O Yah Veh Elohim, amen your word to David my father: for you have me to reign over much people as the dust of the earth:

¹ A Song of Degrees: By Shelomoh. Except Yah Veh build the house the builders toil in vain; except Yah Veh guard the city the guards guard in vain:

¹¹ Because sentencing an evil work works not quickly, the heart of the sons of humanity fully sets to work evil. ¹² Though a sinner works evil a hundred times and prolongs, yet surely I know that it is good with them who awe Elohim - who awe at his face: ¹³ but not good with the wicked: he prolongs not his days as a shadow; because he awes not at the face of Elohim.
