²⁸ And Paroh says to him, Go you from me! Guard yourself! Never see my face again! For in the day you see my face, you die.

THE EPHRAYIM FEEL SLIGHTED
And they summon the men of Ephrayim; and they pass over northward and say to Yiphtach, Why pass you over to fight the sons of Ammon and call not us to go with you? We burn your house on you with fire! ² And Yiphtach says to them, I became a man of mighty strife - I and my people with the sons of Ammon; and when I cried to you, you saved me not from their hands; ³ and when I saw you saved me not, I set my soul in my palms and passed over against the sons of Ammon; and Yah Veh gives them into my hand. Why then ascend you to me this day, to fight me? ⁴
JUDGE YIPHTACH FIGHTS EPHRAYIM
Then Yiphtach gathers all the men of Gilad and fights Ephrayim: and the men of Gilad smite Ephrayim, because they say, You Giladiy are escapees of Ephrayim among the Ephrayimiy and among the Menash Shiy. ⁵ And the Giladiy capture the passages of Yarden in front of the Ephrayimiy: and so be it, when those Ephrayimiy escapees say, Let me pass over! that the men of Gilad say to him, Are you an Ephrayim? If he says, No! ⁶ then they say to him, Say now Shibboleth: and he says Sibboleth: for he prepares not to word right: and they hold him and slaughter him at the passages of Yarden: and there falls at that time of the Ephrayimiy forty-two thousand.

¹⁰ Then says David to Yah Nathan, Who tells me? Or what if your father answers you hardly?

³⁰ Then Shaul kindles his wrath against Yah Nathan and he says to him, You son of the perverted rebellious, know I not that you chose the son of Yishay to your own shame and to the shame of the nakedness of your mother? ³¹ For all the days the son of Yishay lives on the soil, neither you establish nor your sovereigndom: and now, send and take him to me; for he is a son of death.

¹⁰ And Nabal answers the servants of David and says, Who is David? Who is the son of Yishay? Now a days servants abound by the myriads - every man who breaks away from the face of his adoni: ¹¹ Take I my bread and my water and the slaughter I slaughter for my shearers and give it to men whom I know not whence they are?

⁴³ And the men of Yisra El answer the men of Yah Hudah and say, We have ten hands in the sovereign and we have also more in David than you. Why then belittle you us, that our word be not first to return our sovereign? - and the words of the men of Yah Hudah are harder than the words of the men of Yisra El.

⁶ yet tomorrow about this time I send my servants to you to search your house and the houses of your servants; and so be it, whatever is the desire of your eyes, they set in their hand and take away. ⁷ And the sovereign of Yisra El calls all the elders of the land and says, Perceive, I beseech you and see how this one seeks evil: for he sends to me for my women and for my sons and for my silver and for my gold; and I withhold not from him. ⁸ And all the elders and all the people say to him, Neither hearken, nor will. ⁹ And he says to the angels of Ben Hadad, Say to my adoni the sovereign, All you sent for to your servant at the first, I work: but this word, I cannot work. - and the angels go and return the word. ¹⁰ And Ben Hadad sends to him and says, The elohim work so to me and add also, if the dust of Shomeron suffice for palmfuls for all the people at my feet. ¹¹ And the sovereign of Yisra El answers and says, Word to him, He who girds halals not as he who loosens.

¹¹ The mouth of the just is a fountain of life; and violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

³² The lips of the just know what pleases; and the mouth of the wicked perverts.

²⁰ He who walks with the wise, enwisens; and he who befriends fools, shouts.

¹ A tender answer turns away fury; and contorting words ascend wrath.

²³ The impoverished word supplications; and the rich answer strongly.

¹² The words of the mouth of the wise have charism; and the lips of a fool swallow.

¹⁷ And indeed, the wisdom from above is first hallowed, then at shalom, gentle, agreeable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and unhypocritical:
