¹² Wherefore the law indeed is holy: and the commandment holy and just and good.

⁸ For what other nation is there so renowned that hath ceremonies, and just judgments, and all the law, which I will set forth this day before our eyes?

¹² And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but that thou fear the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways, and love him, and serve the Lord thy God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul:

¹³ Thou camest down also to mount Sinai, and didst speak with them from heaven, and thou gavest them right judgments, and the law of truth, ceremonies, and good precepts.

^{7 (19:8)} The law of the Lord is unspotted, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, giving wisdom to little ones. ^{8 (19:9)} The justices of the Lord are right, rejoicing hearts: the commandment of the Lord is lightsome, enlightening the eyes. ^{9 (19:10)} The fear of the Lord is holy, enduring for ever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, justified in themselves. ^{10 (19:11)} More to be desired than gold and many precious stones: and sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. ^{11 (19:12)} For thy servant keepeth them, and in keeping them there is a great reward. ^{12 (19:13)} Who can understand sins? from my secret ones cleanse me, O Lord:

³⁸ Establish thy word to thy servant, in thy fear.

⁸⁶ All thy statutes are truth: they have persecuted me unjustly, do thou help me.

¹²⁷ Therefore have I loved thy commandments above gold and the topaz.

¹³⁷ Thou art just, O Lord: and thy judgment is right.

¹⁴⁰ Thy word is exceedingly refined: and thy servant hath loved it.

¹⁷² My tongue shall pronounce thy word: because all thy commandments are justice.

³¹ Do we then, destroy the law through faith? God forbid! But we establish the law.

¹⁴ For we know that the law is spiritual. But I am carnal, sold under sin.

¹⁶ If then I do that which I will not, I consent to the law, that it is good.

² And be not conformed to this world: but be reformed in the newness of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and the acceptable and the perfect will of God.

⁸ But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully.
