⁸ But what saith the scripture? The word is nigh thee; even in thy mouth and in thy heart. This is the word of faith, which we preach.

¹⁴ But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayst do it.

¹⁹ I created the fruit of the lips, peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, said the Lord, and I healed him.

¹⁵ And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall he condemned.

⁴³ To him all the prophets give testimony, that by his name all receive remission of sins, who believe in him.

³⁸ Be it known therefore to you, men, brethren, that through him forgiveness of sins is preached to you: and from all the things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. ³⁹ In him every one that believeth is justified.

³¹ But they said: believe in the Lord Jesus: and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel. For it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth: to the Jew first and to the Greek. ¹⁷ For the justice of God is revealed therein, from faith unto faith, as it is written: The just man liveth by faith.

¹⁷ Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ.

² This only would I learn of you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?

⁵ He therefore who giveth to you the Spirit and worketh miracles among you: doth he do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of the faith?

⁶ These things proposing to the brethren, thou shalt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished up in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which thou hast attained unto.

²³ Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, by the word of God who liveth and remaineth for ever.

²⁵ But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel hath been preached unto you.
