¹¹ He that hurteth, let him hurt still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is just, let him be justified still: and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.

⁹ And the just man shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

²⁴ Because I called, and you refused: I stretched out my hand, and there was none that regarded. ²⁵ You have despised all my counsel, and have neglected my reprehensions. ²⁶ I also will laugh in your destruction, and will mock when that shall come to you which you feared. ²⁷ When sudden calamity shall fall on you, and destruction, as a tempest, shall be at hand: when tribulation and distress shall come upon you: ²⁸ Then shall they call upon me, and I will not hear: they shall rise in the morning, and shall not find me: ²⁹ Because they have hated instruction, and received not the fear of the Lord, ³⁰ Nor consented to my counsel, but despised all my reproof. ³¹ Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and shall be filled with their own devices. ³² The turning away of little ones shall kill them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. ³³ But he that shall hear me, shall rest without terror, and shall enjoy abundance, without fear of evils.

¹⁸ But the path of the just, as a shining light, goeth forwards, and increaseth even to perfect day.

³² The wicked man shall be driven out in his wickedness: but the just hath hope in his death.

³ If the clouds be full, they will pour out rain upon the earth. If the tree fall to the south, or to the north, in what place soever it shall fall, there shall it be.

²⁷ But when I shall speak to thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord God: He that heareth, let him hear: and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a provoking house.

¹⁰ Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire: and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand.

⁶ Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.

¹⁴ Let them alone: they are blind, and leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both fall into the pit.

¹⁹ And seeing a certain fig tree by the way side, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves only. And he saith to it: May no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away.

¹⁰ Now whilst they went to buy the bridegroom came: and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage. And the door was shut.

²¹ Again therefore Jesus said to them: I go: and you shall seek me. And you shall die in your sin. Whither I go, you cannot come.

²⁷ That he might present it to himself, a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

²² Yet now he hath reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unspotted and blameless before him:

¹³ But evil men and seducers shall grow worse and worse: erring, and driving into error,

²⁴ Now to him who is able to preserve you without sin and to present you spotless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹³ And one of the ancients answered and said to me: These that are clothed in white robes, who are they? And whence came they? ¹⁴ And I said to him: My Lord, thou knowest. And he said to me: These are they who are come out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Therefore, they are before the throne of God: and they serve him day and night in his temple. And he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell over them.

⁸ And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun. And it was given unto him to afflict men with heat and fire. ⁹ And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God, who hath power over these plagues. Neither did they penance to give him glory. ¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast. And his kingdom became dark: and they gnawed their tongues for pain. ¹¹ And they blasphemed the God of heaven, because of their pains and wounds: and did not penance for their works.

²¹ And great hail, like a talent, came down from heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God, for the plague of the hail: because it was exceeding great.

³ And there shall be no curse any more: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it. And his servants shall serve him.
