⁵ O! that my ways may be directed to keep thy justifications.

^{10 (51:12)} Create a clean heart in me, O God: and renew a right spirit within my bowels.

³² I have run the way of thy commandments, when thou didst enlarge my heart.

³⁶ Incline my heart into thy testimonies and not to covetousness.

⁴⁴ So shall I always keep thy law, for ever and ever. ⁴⁵ And I walked at large: because I have sought after thy commandments.

¹³¹ I opened my mouth, and panted: because I longed for thy commandments.

¹⁵⁹ Behold I have loved thy commandments, O Lord; quicken me thou in thy mercy.

¹⁷³ Let thy hand be with me to save me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

³³ But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith the Lord: I will give my law in their bowels, and I will write it in their heart: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

²² For I am delighted with the law of God, according to the inward man: ²³ But I see another law in my members, fighting against the law of my mind and captivating me in the law of sin that is in my members. ²⁴ Unhappy man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

⁵ And the Lord direct your hearts, in the charity of God and the patience of Christ.

²¹ Fit you in all goodness, that you may do his will; doing in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is glory for ever and ever. Amen.
