³ From twenty years old and upwards, of all the men of Israel fit for war, and you shall number them by their troops, thou and Aaron.

¹⁷ And you shall observe the feast of the unleavened bread: for in this same day I will bring forth your army out of the land of Egypt, and you shall keep this day in your generations by a perpetual observance.

¹⁴ He that is counted in the number from twenty years and upwards, shall give the price.

²⁹ In the wilderness shall your carcasses lie. All you that were numbered from twenty years old and upward, and have murmured against me,

¹¹ And the army of his fighting men, that went out to war, was under the hand of Jehiel the scribe, and Maasias the doctor, and under the hand of Henanias, who was one of the king's captains. ¹² And the whole number of the chiefs by the families of valiant men were two thousand six hundred. ¹³ And the whole army under them three hundred and seven thousand five hundred: who were fit for war, and fought for the king against the enemy.
