¹⁶ Then they that are in Judea, let them flee to the mountains:

¹⁵ And when it was morning, the angels pressed him, saying: Arise, take thy wife, and the two daughters that thou hast: lest thou also perish in the wickedness of the city. ¹⁶ And as he lingered, they took his hand, and the hand of his wife, and of his two daughters, because the Lord spared him. ¹⁷ And they brought him forth, and set him without the city: and there they spoke to him, saying: Save thy life: look not back, neither stay thou in all the country about: but save thy self in the mountain, lest thou be also consumed.

²⁰ He that feared the word of the Lord among Pharao's servants, made his servants and his cattle flee into houses: ²¹ But he that regarded not the word of the Lord, left his servants, and his cattle in the fields.

³ The prudent man saw the evil, and hid himself: the simple passed on, and suffered loss.

¹ Strengthen yourselves, ye sons of Benjamin, in the midst of Jerusalem, and sound the trumpet in Thecua, and set up the standard over Bethacarem: for evil is seen out of the north, and a great destruction.

²¹ Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains: and those who are in the midst thereof depart out: and those who are in the countries not enter into it. ²² For these are the days of vengeance, that all things may be fulfilled, that are written.

⁷ By faith Noe, having received an answer concerning those things which as yet were not seen, moved with fear, framed the ark for the saving of his house: by the which he condemned the world and was instituted heir of the justice which is by faith.
