²¹ Wherefore, casting away all uncleanness and abundance of naughtiness, with meekness receive the ingrafted word, which is able to save your souls. ²² But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

² That now he may live the rest of his time in the flesh, not after the desires of men but according to the will of God.

¹⁷ And the world passeth away and the concupiscence thereof: but he that doth the will of God abideth for ever.

²³ And this is his commandment: That we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as he hath given commandment unto us. ²⁴ And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And in this we know that he abideth in us by the Spirit which he hath given us.

¹⁴ Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life and may enter in by the gates into the city.
