³⁹ And after they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their city Nazareth.

³² What I command thee, that only do thou to the Lord: neither add any thing, nor diminish.

²² But hearing that Archclaus reigned in Judea in the room of Herod his father, he was afraid to go thither: and being warned in sleep retired into the quarters of Galilee. ²³ And coming he dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was said by the prophets: That he shall be called a Nazarene.

¹⁵ And Jesus answering, said to him: Suffer it to be so now. For so it becometh us to fulfil all justice. Then he suffered him.

⁶ And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame.

⁴ And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem: because he was of the house and family of David.

²¹ And after eight days were accomplished, that the child should be circumcised, his name was called JESUS, which was called by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. ²² And after the days of her purification, according to the law of Moses, were accomplished, they carried him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord: ²³ As it is written in the law of the Lord: Every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord: ²⁴ And to offer a sacrifice, according as it is written in the law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons:

⁵¹ And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was subject to them. And his mother kept all these words in her heart.

⁴ But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent his Son, made of a woman, made under the law: ⁵ That he might redeem them who were under the law: that we might receive the adoption of sons.
