⁴⁰ And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son and believeth in him may have life everlasting. And I will raise him up in the last day.

²¹ Tell ye, and come, and consult together: who hath declared this from the beginning, who hath foretold this from that time? Have not I the Lord, and there is no God else besides me? A just God and a saviour, there is none besides me. ²² Be converted to me, and you shall be saved, all ye ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is no other.

¹⁰ The Lord hath prepared his holy arm in the sight of all the Gentiles: and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

² And he shall grow up as a tender plant before him, and as a root out of a thirsty ground: there is no beauty in him, nor comeliness: and we have seen him, and there was no sightliness, that we should be desirous of him:

¹⁶ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall he condemned.

³⁰ Because my eyes have seen thy salvation,

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

¹⁵ That whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. ¹⁶ For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. ¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world: but that the world may be saved by him. ¹⁸ He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

³⁶ He that believeth in the Son hath life everlasting: but he that believeth not the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth on him.

¹⁴ But the water that I will give him shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into life everlasting.

²⁴ Amen, amen, I say unto you that he who heareth my word and believeth him that sent me hath life everlasting: and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life.

²⁷ Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed.

³⁵ And Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life. He that cometh to me shall not hunger: and he that believeth in me shall never thirst. ³⁶ But I said unto you that you also have seen me, and you believe not. ³⁷ All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me: and him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.

⁵⁰ And I know that his commandment is life everlasting. The things therefore that I speak, even as the Father said unto me, so do I speak.

⁶ For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Christ Jesus.

¹ Now, faith is the substance of things to be hoped for, the evidence of things that appear not.

²⁷ By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the fierceness of the king: for he endured, as seeing him that is invisible.

⁸ Whom having not seen, you love: in whom also now though you see him not, you believe and, believing, shall rejoice with joy unspeakable and glorified;

¹ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and our hands have handled, of the word of life. ² For the life was manifested: and we have seen and do bear witness and declare unto you the life eternal, which was with the Father and hath appeared to us. ³ That which we have seen and have heard, we declare unto you: that you also may have fellowship with us and our fellowship may be with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

²⁵ And this is the promise which he hath promised us, life everlasting.

¹¹ And this is the testimony that God hath given to us eternal life. And this life is in his Son. ¹² He that hath the Son hath life. He that hath not the Son hath not life. ¹³ These things I write to you that you may know that you have eternal life: you who believe in the name of the Son of God.

²¹ Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto life everlasting.
