²⁶ But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep.

³⁷ All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me: and him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.

⁷ What then? That which Israel sought, he hath not obtained: but the election hath obtained it. And the rest have been blinded. ⁸ As it is written: God hath given them the spirit of insensibility; eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear, until this present day.

³ And if our gospel be also hid, it is hid to them that are lost, ⁴ In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them.

⁶ We are of God. He that knoweth God heareth us. He that is not of God heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
