⁵ God shall thunder wonderfully with his voice, he that doth great and unsearchable things.

¹⁴ The Lord shall thunder from heaven: and the most high shall give forth his voice. ¹⁵ He shot arrows and scattered them: lightning, and consumed them.

⁹ Who doth great things, and unsearchable and wonderful things without number:

¹⁰ Who doth things great and incomprehensible, and wonderful, of which there is no number.

⁷ Peradventure thou wilt comprehend the steps of God, and wilt find out the Almighty perfectly?

¹⁴ Lo, these things are said in part of his ways: and seeing we have heard scarce a little drop of his word, who shall be able to behold the thunder of his greatness?

²⁶ Behold, God is great, exceeding our knowledge: the number of his years is inestimable.

¹¹ He hath made all things good in their time, and hath delivered the world to their consideration, so that man cannot find out the work which God hath made from the beginning to the end.

²¹ Do you not know? hath it not been heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have you not understood the foundations of the earth? ²² It is he that sitteth upon the globe of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as locusts: he that stretcheth out the heavens as nothing, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.

²⁸ Knowest thou not, or hast thou not heard? the Lord is the everlasting God, who hath created the ends of the earth: he shall not faint, nor labour, neither is there any searching out of his wisdom.

³³ O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways!

³ And singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God, and the canticle of the Lamb, saying: Great and wonderful are thy works, O Lord God Almighty. Just and true are thy ways, O King of ages.
