³ And he said to me: Thou art my servant Israel, for in thee will I glory.

¹ Behold my servant, I will uphold him: my elect, my soul delighteth in him: I have given my spirit upon him, he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

²¹ This people have I formed for myself, they shall shew forth my praise.

²³ Give praise, O ye heavens, for the Lord hath shewn mercy: shout with joy, ye ends of the earth: ye mountains, resound with praise, thou, O forest, and every tree therein: for the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and Israel shall be glorified.

¹³ Behold my servant shall understand, he shall be exalted, and extolled, and shall be exceeding high.

¹⁰ And the Lord was pleased to bruise him in infirmity: if he shall lay down his life for sin, he shall see a longlived seed, and the will of the Lord shall be prosperous in his hand.

⁸ Hear, O Jesus thou high priest, thou and thy friends that dwell before thee, for they are portending men: for behold, I WILL BRING MY SERVANT THE ORIENT.

⁵ And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo a voice out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy that shall be to all the people: ¹¹ For, this day is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David. ¹² And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. ¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God and saying: ¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest: and on earth peace to men of good will.

²⁸ Father, glorify thy name. A voice therefore came from heaven: I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.

³¹ When he therefore was gone out, Jesus said: Now is the Son of man glorified; and God is glorified in him. ³² If God be glorified in him, God also will glorify him in himself: and immediately will he glorify him.

⁸ In this is my Father glorified: that you bring forth very much fruit and become my disciples.

¹ These things Jesus spoke: and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said: the hour is come. Glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.

⁴ I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

⁶ Unto the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he hath graced us, in his beloved son.

⁶ Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: ⁷ But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man. ⁸ He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross. ⁹ For which cause, God also hath exalted him and hath given him a name which is above all names: ¹⁰ That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth: ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people: that you may declare his virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
