³⁰ Therefore will I judge every man according to his ways, O house of Israel, saith the Lord God. Be converted, and do penance for all your iniquities: and iniquity shall not be your ruin.

¹⁷ And I said in my heart: God shall judge both the just and the wicked, and then shall be the time of every thing.

¹⁴ And all things that are done, God will bring into judgment for every error, whether it be good or evil.

³ Now is an end come upon thee, and I will send my wrath upon thee, and I will judge thee according to thy ways: and I will set all thy abominations against thee.

⁸ Now very shortly I will pour out my wrath upon thee, and I will accomplish my anger in thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and I will lay upon thee all thy crimes. ⁹ And my eye shall not spare, neither will I shew mercy: but I will lay thy ways upon thee, and thy abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and you shall know that I am the Lord that strike.

²⁷ The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with sorrow, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way, and will judge them according to their judgments: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

⁶ Therefore say to the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord God: Be converted, and depart from your idols, and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

²¹ But if the wicked do penance for all his sins which he hath committed, and keep all my commandments, and do judgment, and justice, living he shall live, and shall not die.

⁹ But if thou tell the wicked man, that he may be converted from his ways, and he be not converted from his way he shall die in his iniquity: but thou hast delivered thy soul.

¹¹ Say to them: As I live, saith the Lord God, I desire not the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way, and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways: and why will you die, O house of Israel?

²⁰ And you say: The way of the Lord is not right, I will judge every one of you according to his ways, O house of Israel.

²⁰ Therefore thus saith the Lord God to you: Behold, I myself will judge between the fat cattle and the lean.

¹³ As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: and we entreated not thy face, O Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and think on thy truth.

⁶ Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and hope in thy God always.

¹² Now, therefore, saith the Lord. Be converted to me with all your heart, in fasting, and in weeping, and mourning. ¹³ And rend your hearts, and not your garments and turn to the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, patient and rich in mercy, and ready to repent of the evil.

¹⁸ And you shall return, and shall see the difference between the just and the wicked: and between him that serveth God, and him that serveth him not.

² And saying: Do penance: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

⁸ Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of penance.

²⁷ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then will he render to every man according to his works.

³² And all nations shall be gathered together before him: and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats:

³ No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.

⁵ No, I say to you: but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish.

²⁰ But to them first that are at Damascus and at Jerusalem, and unto all the country of Judea, and to the Gentiles did I preach, that they should do penance and turn to God, doing works worthy of penance.

⁵ But according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, thou treasurest up to thyself wrath, against the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgment of God:

¹⁰ For we must all be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil. ¹¹ Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we use persuasion to men: but to God we are manifest. And I trust also that in your consciences we are manifest.

⁴ But let every one prove his own work: and so he shall have glory in himself only and not in another. ⁵ For every one shall bear his own burden.

¹⁵ Then, when concupiscence hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin. But sin, when it is completed, begetteth death.

¹⁷ And if you invoke as Father him who, without respect of persons, judgeth according to every one's work: converse in fear during the time of your sojourning here.

⁵ Be mindful therefore from whence thou art fallen: and do penance and do the first works. Or else I come to thee and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou do penance.

¹⁶ In like manner do penance. If not, I will come to thee quickly and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

²¹ And I gave her a time that she might do penance: and she will not repent of her fornication. ²² Behold, I will cast her into a bed: and they that commit adultery with her shall be in very great tribulation, except they do penance from their deeds, ²³ And I will kill her children with death: and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts. And I will give to every one of you according to your works. But to you I say

¹² And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in the presence of the throne. And the books were opened: and another book was opened, which was the book of life. And the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

¹² Behold, I come quickly: and my reward is with me, to render to every, man according to his works.
