⁶ Maketh his round by the south, and turneth again to the north: the spirit goeth forward surveying all places round about, and returneth to his circuits.

⁹ Out of the inner parts shall a tempest come, and cold out of the north.

¹⁷ Are not thy garments hot, when the south wind blows upon the earth?

²⁵ He said the word, and there arose a storm of wind: and the waves thereof were lifted up.

²⁹ And he turned the storm into a breeze: and its waves were still.

⁵ As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones are joined together in the womb of her that is with child: so thou knowest not the works of God, who is the maker of all.

⁴ But the Lord sent a great wind to the sea: and a great tempest was raised in the sea, and the ship was in danger to be broken.

²⁴ Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock,

²⁷ And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.

⁸ The Spirit breatheth where he will and thou hearest his voice: but thou knowest not whence he cometh and whither he goeth. So is every one that is born of the Spirit.

¹³ And the south wind gently blowing, thinking that they had obtained their purpose, when they had loosed from Asson, they sailed close by Crete. ¹⁴ But not long after, there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroaquilo. ¹⁵ And when the ship was caught and could not bear up against the wind, giving up the ship to the winds, we were driven.
