² And thou shalt sacrifice the phase to the Lord thy God, of sheep, and of oxen, in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, that his name may dwell there.

⁵ And it shall be a lamb without blemish, a male, of one year; according to which rite also you shall take a kid. ⁶ And you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month; and the whole multitude of the children of Israel shall sacrifice it in the evening. ⁷ And they shall take of the blood thereof, and put it upon both the side posts, and on the upper door posts of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

¹⁶ And in the first month, on the four tenth day of the month, shall be the phase of the Lord, ¹⁷ And on the fifteenth day the solemn feast: seven days shall they eat unleavened bread. ¹⁸ And the first day of them shall be venerable and holy: you shall not do any servile work therein. ¹⁹ And you shall offer a burnt sacrifice a holocaust to the Lord, two calves of the herd, one ram, seven lambs of a year old, without blemish:

⁵ But you shall come to the place, which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, and to dwell in it:

¹¹ In the place, which the Lord your God shall choose, that his name may be therein. Thither shall you bring all the things that I command you, holocausts, and victims, and tithes, and the firstfruits of your hands: and whatsoever is the choicest in the gifts which you shall vow to the Lord.

¹⁴ But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes shalt thou offer sacrifices, and shalt do all that I command thee.

¹⁸ But thou shalt eat them before the Lord thy God in the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, thou and thy son and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and maidservant, and the Levite that dwelleth in thy cities: and thou shalt rejoice and be refreshed before the Lord thy God in all things, whereunto thou shalt put thy hand.

²⁶ But the things which thou hast sanctified and vowed to the Lord, thou shalt take, and shalt come to the place which the Lord shall choose:

²⁰ In the sight of the Lord thy God shalt thou eat them every year, in the place that the Lord shall choose, thou and thy house.

⁷ And Josias gave to all the people that were found there in the solemnity of the phase, of lambs and of kids of the flocks, and of other small cattle thirty thousand, and of oxen three thousand, all these were of the king's substance.

² You know that after two days shall be the pasch: and the Son of man shall be delivered up to be crucified.

¹⁷ And on the first day of the Azymes, the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the pasch?

¹² Now on the first day of the unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the pasch, the disciples say to him: Whither wilt thou that we go and prepare for thee to eat the pasch?

⁸ And he sent Peter and John, saying: Go, and prepare for us the pasch, that we may eat.

¹⁵ And he said to them: With desire I have desired to eat this pasch with you, before I suffer.

⁷ Purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new paste, as you are unleavened. For Christ our pasch is sacrificed.
