¹⁸ And I will receive you. And will be a Father to you: and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

¹ At that time, saith the Lord, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

⁹ They shall come with weeping: and I will bring them back in mercy: and I will bring them through the torrents of waters in a right way, and they shall not stumble in it: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

⁹ And he said: Call his name, Not my people: for you are not my people, and I will not be yours. ¹⁰ And the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, that is without measure, and shall not be numbered. And it shall be in the place where it shall be said to them: You are not my people: it shall be said to them: Ye are the sons of the living God.

¹² But as many as received him, he gave them power to be made the sons of God, to them that believe in his name.

¹⁴ For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. ¹⁵ For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear: but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father). ¹⁶ For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit that we are the sons of God. ¹⁷ And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son: that he might be the Firstborn amongst many brethren.

²⁶ For you are all the children of God, by faith in Christ Jesus.

⁵ That he might redeem them who were under the law: that we might receive the adoption of sons. ⁶ And because you are sons, God hath sent the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying: Abba, Father. ⁷ Therefore, now he is not a servant, but a son. And if a son, an heir also through God.

⁵ Who hath predestinated us unto the adoption of children through Jesus Christ unto himself: according to the purpose of his will:

¹ Behold what manner of charity the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called and should be the sons of God. Therefore the world knoweth not us, because it knew not him. ² Dearly beloved, we are now the sons of God: and it hath not yet appeared what we shall be. We know that when he shall appear we shall be like to him: because we shall see him as he is.

⁸ I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

⁷ He that shall overcome shall possess these things. And I will be his God: and he shall be my son.

²² And I saw no temple therein. For the Lord God Almighty is the temple thereof, and the Lamb.
