² According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, unto the sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Grace unto you and peace be multiplied.

⁶ Because thou art a holy people to the Lord thy God. The Lord thy God hath chosen thee, to be his peculiar people of all peoples that are upon the earth.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unjust man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God: for he is bountiful to forgive.

⁹ And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Juda a possessor of my mountains: and my elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.

²² They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of my people, and the works of their hands shall be of long continuance.

²⁵ Then king Darius wrote to all people, tribes, and languages, dwelling in the whole earth: PEACE be multiplied unto you.

²² And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened.

²⁴ For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.

³¹ And he shall send his angels with a trumpet and a great voice: and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the farthest parts of the heavens to the utmost bounds of them.

²⁰ And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh should be saved: but, for the sake of the elect which he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

²² For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets: and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect.

²⁷ And then shall he send his angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

⁷ And will not God revenge his elect who cry to him day and night? And will he have patience in their regard?

¹⁶ You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. ¹⁷ These things I command you, that you love one another. ¹⁸ If the world hate you, know ye that it hath hated me before you. ¹⁹ If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

²³ This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain.

¹⁸ To the Lord was his own work known from the beginning of the world.

³² And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, who is able to build up and to give an inheritance among all the sanctified.

⁵ By whom we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith, in all nations, for his name:

⁷ To all that are at Rome, the beloved of God, called to be saints. Grace to you and peace, from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹³ For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live.

²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son: that he might be the Firstborn amongst many brethren. ³⁰ And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.

³³ Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God is he that justifieth:

²³ That he might shew the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy which he hath prepared unto glory? ²⁴ Even us, whom also he hath called, not only of the Jews but also of the Gentiles.

² God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Know you not what the scripture saith of Elias, how he calleth on God against Israel?

⁵ Even so then, at this present time also, there is a remnant saved according to the election of grace. ⁶ And if by grace, it is not now by works: otherwise grace is no more grace. ⁷ What then? That which Israel sought, he hath not obtained: but the election hath obtained it. And the rest have been blinded.

²⁸ As concerning the gospel, indeed, they are enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, they are most dear for the sake of the fathers.

¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles: sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost.

¹⁹ For your obedience is published in every place. I rejoice therefore in you. But I would have you to be wise in good and simple in evil.

²⁶ (Which now is made manifest by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the precept of the eternal God, for the obedience of faith) known among all nations:

³⁰ But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and justice and sanctification and redemption:

¹¹ And such some of you were. But you are washed: but you are sanctified: but you are justified: in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God.

⁵ And every height that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God: and bringing into captivity every understanding unto the obedience of Christ:

^{14 (13:13)} The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the charity of God and the communication of the Holy Ghost be with you all. Amen.

⁴ As he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and unspotted in his sight in charity. ⁵ Who hath predestinated us unto the adoption of children through Jesus Christ unto himself: according to the purpose of his will:

¹² Put ye on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, the bowels of mercy, benignity, humility, modesty, patience:

^{13 (2:12)} But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit and faith of the truth:

¹⁰ Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory.

¹ Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of the elect of God and the acknowledging of the truth, which is according to godliness:

⁹ And being consummated, he became, to all that obey him, the cause of eternal salvation:

¹⁹ For when every commandment of the law had been read by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people. ²⁰ Saying: This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. ²¹ The tabernacle also and all the vessels of the ministry, in like manner, he sprinkled with blood. ²² And almost all things, according to the law, are cleansed with blood: and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

²² Let us draw near with a true heart, in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with clean water.

²⁸ By faith he celebrated the pasch and the shedding of the blood: that he who destroyed the firstborn might not touch them.

²⁴ And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel.

²² Purifying your souls in the obedience of charity, with a brotherly love, from a sincere heart love one another earnestly:

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people: that you may declare his virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

² Grace to you and peace be accomplished in the knowledge of God and of Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹ The Ancient to the lady Elect and her children, whom I love in the truth: and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth,

¹³ The children of thy sister Elect salute thee.

² Mercy unto you and peace: and charity be fulfilled.
