¹⁵ And we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask: we know that we have the petitions which we request of him.

²⁹ The Lord is far from the wicked: and he will hear the prayers of the just.

¹² Shall iron be allied with the iron from the north, and the brass? ¹³ Thy riches and thy treasures I will give unto spoil for nothing, because of all thy sins, even in all thy borders.

²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive: and they shall come unto you.

⁹ And I say to you: Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you. ¹⁰ For every one that asketh receiveth: and he that seeketh findeth: and to him that knocketh it shall be opened:

¹⁸ We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not: but the generation of God preserveth him and the wicked one toucheth him not. ¹⁹ We know that we are of God and the whole world is seated in wickedness. ²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come. And he hath given us understanding that we may know the true God and may be in his true Son. This is the true God and life eternal.
