⁵⁰ Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot possess the kingdom of God: neither shall corruption possess incorruption.

¹⁷ And Jesus answering said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

³ Jesus answered and said to him: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. ⁴ Nicodemus saith to him: How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born again? ⁵ Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

¹² Now this I say, that every one of you saith: I indeed am of Paul; and I am of Apollo; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

¹³ Meat for the belly and the belly for the meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord: and the Lord for the body.

²⁹ This therefore I say, brethren: The time is short. It remaineth, that they also who have wives be as if they had none:

¹ For we know, if our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, that we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven.

⁶ Now this I say: He who soweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly: and he who soweth in blessings shall also reap blessings.

¹⁷ Now this I say: that the testament which was confirmed by God, the law which was made after four hundred and thirty years doth not disannul, to make the promise of no effect.

¹⁶ I say then: Walk in the spirit: and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

¹⁷ This then I say and testify in the Lord: That henceforward you walk not as also the Gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind:

⁴ Now this I say, that no man may deceive you by loftiness of words.
